You can remove 2 ant batts on this and 42 kg of wedges on a LW = overkill.  Id rather Overkill then underkill

I've been playing about a bit with heavy armour bots...

What i tried doing is minimize chassis size while trying to cram as much stuff on as possible.

Its powered bt 4 Geared E-Teks, with a few battlepacks inside. 1mm or 3mm Titanium armour for chassis defense and weight saving. Then the outside is armoured with several shel parts and a DSL Bar.

It managed to stand up to a good beating in a battle with Grog the Vengeful.

That looks so cool. How much damage does it do?

Unless TWM3R's are more effective then a NPC (or do a better job of keeping the bot on the floor) I don't see why that is so.

Unless you're talking about him using a standard TWM3R for mobility.

been fooling around with the game while at my nans and heres what i came up with

Small Snap


Type: SnS
Drive: 2 Tornado wheels on TWM3Rs
Weapon: 2 30k sledge hammers
1 battle Pack, 1 ant bat
Amour: 3 mm plastic
Its not a bad lw, but i wish it had more speed LOL
Smack n Snap


Another SnS
Drive: 2 tornado wheels on NPC fast
Weapon: 4 30 kg sledge hammers, 2 20*120 DSL bars
Armour: 3mm plastic
1 battle pack, 2 ant bats
I like Smack n snap as is does a lot of damage
Smack n Snap V2


Yep. The HW version of Smack n Snap
Drive: 4 tornado wheels on NPC Fast
Weapon: 4 60kg sledge hammers, 4 dsl bars
4 battle packs
Armour: 3mm titanium
Does alot of damage but has lsow spin up time
3,2,1 TIMBER!


VS
Drive: 2 tornado wheels on NPC fast
Weapon: 2 saw blade on TWM3R
3 ants, 1 battle pack
Amour: 1mm titanium
pretty good. dispatches of most MW pretty quickly
1, TIMBER!

 
HW version of 3, 2, 1, TIMBER!
Drive: 2 tornado wheels on npc fast ( yes i really like this drive setup)
Weapon: 4 sawblades on TWM3Rs, 4 iron tips
5 ant batts
armour: 10mm titanium
Pretty much the smae as the MW, dispatches most of the LW pretty quickly but has trouble vs shell spinners, VSers and Wiide load

Not bad.

1st version's wedges are much better than 2nd's. Just dump the sheets on the middle of the hinges and get something tougher than plastic for the others.

And if they are knocked too easily just use a stronger material...

@S32: Nope. On a double wedge like that, static wedges will be not only heavier but less efficient than hinged ones.

I will try that but the reason why i used the multi extender was because the skirt hinge wouldnt go on....

they are but they get knocked off easlily

Been awhile but here a 2 LW bots i made
First: shadow Strike


Drive:  2 Vlad wheels on slim body
Weapon:4 small DS teeth and a razor tip on a small dsl disc on a piglet brushless motor
3mm plastic
Second: Shadow Strike V2


Drive: 2 vlad wheels on TWM3R
Weapon: 4 ds teeth on small dsl disc on piglet brushless motor
3mm plastic

these are the only real good LW bots that i have built so far
