you'd be better with the drive inside the chassis.

Could you maybe make the AI at least a little bit easier?

Hell no. the DSL AI is already too easy for my liking.

@JoeBlo: exactly.

Your chassis space management is good, and also snapper wedges = win.

But:

You're not going to get ANY respect if you showcase a bot with cheat parts on it.

Also ballasts are the worst component ever.

Use something that would actually help your bot (batteries, more armor, heavier weapons, a wedge...) rather than dead weight.

Just saying...

'Tis ugly with bear claws.

However where the heck did you found all that weight with DSA ??

Restart for the predictions.

45-70 Magnum: Well it's well built, but kinda slow for a FS. I can see this getting shredded by the horde of HS right there.

Absolute Chaos: The epitomy of the pure HS. Not exactly my favorite because it's a pure HS (no offense to Inf) but still one of the potential winners here.

Acupuncture: Totally generic rammer. Not badly built - wish the wedge was longer though.

Anti-Christ V.Pincer: Messssssy HS. 18 irons isn't a lot on a HW.

Big Flip's Revenge: Well I nearly entered a multibot popup too... Looks decent. Wish the wedge was longer. Going to get raped by the first decent HS encountered.

Black Cat Magic: Nice name, nice paintjob but poor bot with very slow drive and too few weapons. Will fail hard unless against a noob.

Blood Shed: A decent rammer with a good weapon choice. However the Katanas could hamper mobility, and again wish the wedge was longer.

Bounty Hunter: It's a popup... and made by the resident popup master. I can see him losing to the heavily weaponed horizontal spinners though. One of my favs.

Bumble Bee: I'm going to call this Cheap Win 3000 for all the tourney.

Cardiac Arrest: The best of the rammers here. Awesome name, cool looks, really well built. One of my favorites.

Chernobyl: AC wannabe, with less coolness. Still a 36 mace. We'll see how it fares.

Cocytus IV: Juggler. Jugglers own, and Scrap is one of the best Stock builders we have. Might see against the pure HS however.

Consonant/Vowel: A multibot with a SnS and no wedges is a BAD idea against a heavyweight. It MIGHT get a few wins but it's much more of somethin that will get raped to me.

Copyright Infringement: I LOL'd at the name. Near-pure HS, will see how it fares...

Crawl Through Knives v4.2: Another NWB clone. I think the discs ould be better perfectly horizontal. Nice name.

Dark July: I love the name. I hope the overwhelming number of weapons on that pusher makes up for the drive train sacrifice...

Death Dealer: I don't even think this is better than Little Darling. Was expecting more from MNB.

DGSG/IDRODI: Not too bad of a multibot. As always will get raped against a HS, but might win against several of the rammers.

'Eavy Metal Boi: Nothing attractive on that bot. A poor rammer/poker that could get a few wins if it faces the SFTW's.

gears your lever: Probably would be better with maces... Fury is MUCH MORE better than this.

Generic Rammer: Pinks = fail. Chassis could be lighter. An average rammer.

grinnin face: This is what happens when you know the right techniques to build a HS but when you can't apply them... Plus the bot is ugly and the name has nothing attractive.

Gut Ripper 2: A less than average shell spinner, but not a SFTW. RADs and miniwheels on a HW = fail, and the weapon head setup needs to be rotated 90°. Might get one or two wins though. And nothing close to a gut ripper...

Heaven's Sawmill: Yeah, it's a good bot, but not an unstoppable killer because of low speed. I can see these wedges being munched away by a HS and then the bot will suck without wedges.

Hellbringer: Not too bad of a FS, but critically misses a wedge and faster drive.

Insult to Injury V:

?

Nice paintjob though.

Juggernaut Mk. 3: A nice paintjob for a really crappy rammer that won't last long, with weak weapons and exposed chassis.

Mace in da face: Another AC (original version's) clone. Name could really be more attractive, though it's a 36 mace HS and as that a dangerous bot.

Mjorhmei: SCv4a's Orbital Delivery Vehicle... but weapons = fail.

No Hype 5: Credit to Phil for building the only true popup of the tournament, but the damage will be drastically low. Are 2 DDT's and 4 HPZ drive enough to send bots OOTA? We'll see.

Oscillation Overthruster: Not too bad of a HS. Half hitpoints however...

PitA 8: It's a good popup, goes under NWB most of the time, however it is prone to losing weapons easily (even with 8 razors) and it always does that against a HS. I don't share Click's enthusiasm on my bot.

R4: No armor is a risky bet even with a LOT of firepower. Can't see this fairing well.

Red Radar: Poorly built vertical spinner will get destroyed by any decent bot it is pitted against.

Revenge of Dr. Wham: Probably a popup or wammer... but A 2WD ONE ??? While not too bad of a bot, it won't get far.

SandStorm: Nice name, original design, but i can't see this as really combat worthy with an Emergency wedge that high and axes on spinners = not the best choice.

Seism 13: I MORE THAN LOVE THAT PAINTJOB. Also credit to FB for building an original wedge design... we'll see if the weight used on the linear actuators is worth it.

Shock Therapy: 12 razors on a HW HS= you're doing it wrong. Very wrong.

Spearhead: A good poker, though i don't like the lack of wedges and these black extenders could be too exposed.

Stratocaster: Not bad of a rammer/poker hybrid, but any popup/juggler will probably eat this alive.

SurgicalStrike: Same as R0B0's bot but not as good. We will see if weapon overload is a good tradeoff for less armor...

T-800 Terminator: Starcore knows what he's entering. More than probably going to fair well in that tournament.

The Baby Warrior: Second SFTW of the tournament ! An failure of a rammer/hammer hybrid. Not horrible though.

the black plague: Complex spinner with failed weapon heads. Will get destroyed against any good rammer.

The Emancipator: Could have been so easy to switch the discs to extenders and get irons for the central spinners...

The Fang Brothers: Failure of a multibot. That's all.

Three Kings: Its cool, but the combat efficiency of this horizontal spinner is kind of limited.

Triple Play: If the previous combat efficiency was kind of limited, this one is amazingly low. Another of the poorly built bots.

Trojan Horse: 61kg on a DDT ?? Overall, an average popup that can still get wins.

Tsunami: Fodder and an insult to popups, if this can even qualify as a popup (from the West).

Shadow Tyrant: Nice name. Not sure about double stacked emergency wedges though...

Vela: Another generic HS. Drive attachment setup is a failure. Not bad overall.

Vetearn Destroyer: A hammer/rammer hybrid without wedges... and i bet that could have been built with shinies. Not too bad of a bot but won't get far.

Yes they are chained.

I am actually 3kg away from adding a plow to my design with a downgrade to irons.

Trying to solve the problem by stacking an anchor in the baseplate HPZ.

I don't like my chances. One good thing is that i don't see a single hint of caster armor excepted for me and Pysc... and no belly caster armor.

EDIT: no you can't use a 20cm rather than a t extender.

You could still use pointy tips or pole spikes... yeah they have decals.

That would unbalance the setup because the HP's axles won't be aligned then.

DSA.

Misses a plow yeah, but it's no longer harmless on it's back. Less than barely invertible but can still move.

I can add a bit of a self righter, in fact that'd just be a 20cm extender that would poke out from the upper HPZ vertically.

I'm nearly done with Sentinel Observer. Trying to get that invertible.

It owns the old version, and can kill Tempus Fugit SCv4, probably not as AI though.

Can anybody show me the setup of how to get the motor so close, or make a vid, because I frankly just can't tell how you guys are doing it.

YOURE NOT TRYING HARD ENOUGH

__________

SSG there's 5kg to win on your drive setup.

__________

Second try, with the tri extender now.

DSA, everything else is in the pic. (yeah the chassis looks like Spin Cycle i know)

Going to submit that to Starcore for Sentinel Observer SCv4 - after some more tweaking though, and maybe another version, cause it can't self right nor is invertible.

HAHAHAHAH

_______________

Anyways here's the thing that i built:

Designed to be the prototype of an invertible Sentinel Observer - it sucks because of plastic armor, but i'm going to rebuild it possibly with 6 razors.

Predictable. But heck, i could have won it.

And with a value of 'PreSpinEntrance' that high i'm going to lose to you Urjak... unless Mad fixes it, in that case i'm definitely aiming for second.
