I'm not really too fussed over who I get. I just hope that we're all more or less trying to build the same style of robot, rather than Oddishing all over the place.

The hell is a bluebottle? A horse fly?
Yes, it's a kind of fly. Horrible things.
Why is it, exactly, that America and the UK have differnet words for the same things?
Well, being the English language by definition, that means it's America's fault. But I suppose it just evolved separately, trashcan and bin, sidewalk and pavement, differnet and different. =P

Valentine's is boring
If all goes as planned, I think you will find this year's to be more interesting.
what devious plot have you put together!?
EXPLODING CHOCOLATES.

Usain Bolt isn't a car
Best thing I've heard all day.

There are more things to spend weight on than weaponry. Defense, for instance. If something hits that motor, you're dead. I would try to get at least one, if not both of the casters protecting the motor if at all possible.

I think my Dynamics teacher is a little bit odd. Here is a question from today's lesson.
"If a small girl is hit by a car at 40mph, she has a 20% chance of survival. If the same girl is hit by the same car at 30mph, she has an 80% chance of survival.
What are her chances of survival if she is hit by Usain Bolt?"

Updraft, I especially like. The wheel placement reminds me of Watch Your Step! from B4ttleBots a little bit, but I do like how you've made it invertible with the skirts. Multicell, I would never have thought of laying out the components in that fashion. But then I wouldn't have gone for that shape either. =P I'm not a fan of the angled skirt being used as a lifter, however, I would have just gone for another flipper segment or two, personally.

Looks badass. If you tidy up the front extender work a little, so they don't overlap too much, that'd almost complete it. I prefer the first weapon, though, personally.

Pretty much, yeah. That's what it means when it talks about "Cannot move that point because it will bend one side too much".

It's because the face is going from being vertical to being a wedge, so the faces need to twist in order to fit the framework you're laying out. To get around this, simply pull the other front corners back by one square, and that will keep them at the same angle, removing the twist that you're wanting to get rid of..

It's Thor from RW: AOD, without the hammer. (Edit: DAMN YOU GRW.) But still looks very nice, just need to give it a nice Scandanavian mythical name. Where were the ant axes going to go?

Because it's using flails. You really should be using a Dual Perm for that sort of weight. You could simply use a tooth or some sort on the underside, rather than the heavy extenders either side, similar to what Wheels Are Tasty 4 1/2 had. If you need to, remove some of the weaponry to get the remainder of the weight.

I might suggest Hypno-Disc vs. RoboGeddon (or Stealth), Roadblock vs. Onslaught and Panic Attack vs. Toe Cutter. That's just me personally, though. Also Robot The Bruce vs. Wedgehog, I'd say that was the first example of a one-sided fight, if you discount Mortis and Leighbot.
What about Hypno-Disc vs. Splinter :P
I actually thought that was a fairly even battle, persoanlly. Until the scoop came off. And you can normally find the fights if you take a look on the Wiki for one of the robots, such as Roadblock, find the heat where it fought Onslaught (G, I think), and search YT for Robot Wars Series 2 Heat G Part 3, and it should appear, hopefully.

Ah, I see. I thought it was the other way around. What you could do is mount the pistons alongside the motors, rather than in front of them, which would offer a wider, shorter stance, giving less chance of being flanked. I'm not sure you'd be able to get the width correct for every bot, though, so burst motors would probably be advisable at that stage. Depends on how much weight they're able to carry at once.

It's a little bit narrow for my liking, you're not going to fit a SHW in there, I don't think. I think there's a bit much extender work going on as well, I'd try and get just the bare basics on to begin with, then perhaps try to add a few more weapons. The rear skirt isn't necessary, for instance. If you take a look a JoeBlo's entry into the Wheely Tag tournament, the arms open BEFORE the opponent reaches them, then close ONTO the opponent for sustained and continuous damage, rather than just quick jabs that give the opponent a chance to escape. You might want to try that strategy, I reckon you could make it work pretty well.
