« on: December 25, 2011, 01:28:01 AM »
The games I am getting are all for 3DS
1. Mario Kart 7
2. Zelda Orcorina of Time 3D
3. Formula One 2011 3D
4. Super Mario 3D Land.

If you know what you're getting for Christmas, you're doing it wrong.

I put LoZ Skyward Sword and Cave Story 3D on my list but not sure if I'm getting either.  Since what I REALLY want is money toward a DSLR camera + 100mm macro lens.

Funny you say that, ever since I was 13 (and my sibs were even younger), my family gave up on the whole "element of surprise" presents thing, and would instead just give us the money and let us buy whatever we wanted from Amazon (they used to have Zoids).  They'd get us a few small trinkets on top of it that, but we'd usually end up keeping the the money.

I asked my brother if he wanted any games but he couldn't think of any; he wouldn't even try Phoenix Wright, so I guess there really is no accounting for taste.

I bought myself The Orange Box and Portal 2 as a little holiday treat; they were on sale, and m passed all my classes this semester, I figured I'd earned them.

Napalm.  You have no idea how hard it was to consolidate all the pictures into one 3D shape, since the team had to pretty much put the frame back together after every battle.  Took a hell of a lot of cutting cardboard especially the yellow fence.  The eyes are made out of copper wire with mesh and two lightbulbs.  The plow was very difficult to shape, it may not look it but it's about 14 pieces.

So, when you see something like this:

(Image removed from quote.)

Do you think of Yo dawg I heard you like dragons or DRAGONCEPTION? They're pretty much the same meme.

I like Inception better though.

'Ception, only because the Yo Dawg thing takes a while to write out the whole saying.

At least he's not asking for money.  Everything about him just screams "plaid-suited greasy-haired swindler."

what you need is to find a parkour gym.
A good start, but judging by the name of the thread, it's sadly lacking in throwing Shuriken and disappearing in a puff of smoke once the neighbours find out their woodshed's been raided for obstacle building materials.

I think you're being misled by the name "Ninja Warrior," a more accurate title would be "Nintendo-Hard version of Wipeout, seriously, it's almost not even worth being insured against having to pay out the cash prize"

It would be better if you just picked out a few people we were likely to know.

My heroes in no particular order:
Joan of Arc, Genghis Khan,  Jesus Christ, and Pinkie Pie!

They each have different characteristics I admire.

He ordered 70000 people to be shot by arrows.

Ghengis is Number 6, here.

He was good to his own people.  Then again you could say the same about Hitler.

They made a new Battletoads game? What the ****? No one ever beat the one that was made for NES. It was literally impossible to beat.

Here's king B Powerworks, it has a clear top so I had to do the insides too.  It ended up taking a ton of pieces.  Painting on top of acetate is tricky.

This is the new pine-sol ad.

Is it just me or do the pine sol sisters look familiar?  It's a group of six females, and there's a pink one, a purple one, a yellow one, and a cyan one...
