For pushers, one wedge tends to work better than 2.

Modifications / Re: NAR AI pack releases !« on: June 06, 2010, 06:33:59 PM »Quote Supernova's disc is one heavy weapon and the stronger disc you can use on your bot. 12000 hitpoints (200 HP/kg), 300 DP (0.51 piercing, 2.06 concussion) but no normals. It weights 65kg, so it is needs 13000 HP for it to have 200 HP/Kg, and to meet it's 60000 efficiency quota. Alternatively you may also drop it's KG to 60. 2208
DSL TC Showcases / Re: The DSL Designs of The Ounce« on: June 05, 2010, 11:02:16 PM »Death Star was not even made to be heavily armed, it was made to sweep wedges away.....It is better than Quasar, it can sweep away more wedges than Quasar can, allowing it to win against more types of bots. but having so much extensions and setup cost KG so it has to be light on weapon (only 392). Plus 112 kg are facing up for juggling. So your design should easily out weapon Death Star. To quote myself for clarity. Quote A SHW RPP/Morning Star Hybrid. This will be my RiP2 entry (if I made it in time). It has superior reach/sweeping power to Quasar without losing damage, making it far more dangerous. 2209

I just tried that FBSPlus and it's good. Thanks Click
Craaig: Change my Death Star to the new FBSPlus if you got the time, the loading time reduction is quite noticeable. Here's the binding. list.append(("SHW - Death Star","FBSPlus",{'spinspeed':13,'invertible':True,'nose':math.pi*0.25,'radius':0.1,'topspeed':150,'throttle':130,'turn':100,'turnspeed':99,'weapons':(0,)})) 2214

Lol but if a wedge ever get under it it will..... Die. So I am not worry about invertibility. It can't take 2 hits from claymore anyway. 2218
DSL TC Showcases / Re: FOTEPX's DSL Showcase« on: June 01, 2010, 03:57:07 AM »12 PC545 are more than enough 210*4 + 20 = 860 amp while 840/1.6 + 20 = 545, you need 860 for burst to have full power. Field test suggest the difference is significant. I prefer using redpack over PC545. While 30 red pack + 2 ants weights 30kg more than 14 PC545 + 2 ants, the space it takes to fit 4 redpack is = 1 PC545, which is quite a lot of space saved. 2219

You can alter the chassis and mount those Etek-drive externally, which can save you a lot of weights.
