@123
Bullsh**, 8 gigs will always be better for gaming than 4 (Unless by quality you mean DDR3 vs DDR2)

Pretty sure that's what he's saying.

RAMBUS, for the win.

High school never ends.

Sure it does. You'll even miss it when it ends. Trust me. I graduated in 2009 and it didn't take me but about a day to want to go back.
Sometimes get that feeling myself- even only a year later, I feel like an old git
Try being 20. =D

Aww maaayn, I'm 20 in less than 3 months.

Chatterbox / Re: The Scariest Pumpkin you will ever see this Halloween.
« on: October 23, 2012, 10:07:09 AM »
Halloween isnt really celebrated in Australia :( But a friend and I are going to carve pumpkins for the first time this year.. Im pretty excited, something I have wanted to do since I was little..

You have the potential to make something epic if you have the right tools. Here's some suggestions...

A knife with a serated blade roughly four inches long, a jigsaw blade, an Exacto knife and a large serving spoon.

The knife will help make the rough shape of the carving. The jigsaw blade will help with the smaller details. The Exacto will be good for very fine details and finishing touches and the spoon is just to scoop out the guts before you actually carve.

Ha's bot is now on the splash. It's a popup, but considering someone doesn't know how to build popups, I doubt his effectiveness.

What do you mean I don't know how to build pop-ups? Just because I don't build them the generic way, doesn't mean I don't know how to.

What can't you people understand about "I don't build generic bots."

I saw there were no popups entered, so I entered one.

2206
anyone else wants to enter ? I won't be able to finish round 1 if I have an uneven number of entries.

Give me a bye round. Problem solved.

I've had several dream-fights in the past year.  I wake myself up by punching or kicking the wall.  Once I did a flying kick and ended up falling out of bed.

Mild-mannered Sonny is full of pent-up rage, it seems.

At another point a robot that I couldn't identify by name flipped, but I can remember it couldn't self-right and it looked like a black and red trapezoid-like thing with a front wedge and no noticeable weapon.

Bad Attitude?

So I was talking to a friend on Facebook...

Me: Are we thinking of different things, here? :LL

Him: haha, yup i think we're on two different trains buddy!

Me: Where's your train going?

Him: leeds
yours?

Me: A return ticket to Pussayville :L
Because trains...
Nevermind.
:L

Him: I got a one way ticket to non-virgin central!
BOOM!

Me: Nice.
I've heard it'll depart in 10 years.
Actually, no.
They've updated the train schedule
It'll depart in 20 years.
Wait, wait...
It's been cancelled.
:LL

Him: ouch that was just... ouch
you are both faggots

I cannot deny that I do agree with the aforementioned argument provided by my colleague, nor do I deny that I would have been much more harsh in the delivery of said argument had I been the one to provide it.

Yeah, it's the S5 Gamma Raptor. Innards if anyone's interested: *prepare for metric sh** ton of cheat components*
(Image removed from quote.)

Wait... It doesn't have any drive motors.

It seems a bit wide, but it looks good other than that and not being able to move. :laughing
Actually, they're cheat motors, made from the 360 degree axles-they were in Alphasim's RWAI pack.

Ah, I see. Nevermind then.

For the love of god whatever you go with do not make it 8.
Why? Everything works perfect on x64.
Windows 7/Windows Xp > Windows Vista > Windows 8

Windows XP > Windows 7 > Windows 2000 > Windows 98 > Windows Vista > Windows 95 > Windows 8 > Windows NT > Windows ME

I once defeated a robot named "Weird Dreams" when RA2 still had multiplayer support. Six spinning battleaxes were no match for pistons with razors. Good times.

The new is strong with this one.

I would totally throw a bot together for this and enter, but I am currently in the back seat of a Ford Explorer with two children headed to St. Louis for a wedding that Black Widow is forcing me to go to for some reason...

I may be able to get something made later tonight or something if no one else has submitted anything.
