Modifications / Re: The DSL 3.0 preview thread« on: April 02, 2012, 12:04:08 PM »From looking, it seems- that would also mean that Caterpillar Tracks would be the slowest form of locomotion, even though you can get fast tracked robots.5. No more 2.3 grip wheels. Grip ranges from 0.8 - 1.2 (except for treads which have 0.6). 2203

Could be mistaken.and I will be enjoying to backstab you all the time...Haha we should totally make our own lulzy highlander (9v9) team. It'd be boss.Pyro, for me. I'll be great for ambushing opponents, helping to destroy Sentries around corners, and finding and flushing out Spies. 2206

And be careful this time. ![]() Maybe a snarky comment or two here or there, but nothing too serious, of course ![]() Nothing said on the internet should be taken seriously. These things should be ignored and forgotten as soon as possible, in my opinion. Not worth getting angry over. For threatening to kill kill if he didn't remove his ban. Or something along those lines. Then doing a u-turn when he found out kill was the one who banned him. Either way kill permabanned him, which was probably the right thing to do.Agreed. Normally I'm not one to bear grudges, but I'll never forgive him for those comments he made relating to my Diabetes. Typically, I can understand that. But it's a bit of a sensitive topic for me- only had it since last May, you see. 2211

...still 65% Warn, though. On the bright side, it's an improvement over earlier. 2214
Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: March 31, 2012, 01:56:59 PM »I might stop it there, GF. But I agree that 65% warn for swearing is too far. Most members, I imagine are competent enough to not lace every post with a barrage of expletives. One instance in one post shouldn't warrant that level of warn at all. If someone was to go curse crazy, they could be warned accordingly. One rude word in one post, I feel, should be 10% at the absolute most. Granted that trolls, flame wars and such aren't as prevolent as it used to be, but that doesn't necessarily mean we can shift the main focus onto something much less important.Exactly, I think I'll stop then. 2215
Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: March 31, 2012, 01:43:55 PM »What's he going to do about it? It's not like the racist, homophobic sack of crap does much moderating that's actually useful.65% Warn for swearing? You've got to be kidding.insulting acams probably wont help 2216
Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: March 31, 2012, 01:33:18 PM »I still don't think swearing should warrant such a high level of warn. There are MUCH worse things a member can do.Exactly. Somehow, one instance of it is far worse than anything on here. That's why I consider ACAMS' backwards "Frontier Justice" to be so corrupt. He blatantly ignores problems that need sorting out, yet is all to happy to come down like a ton of bricks on someone for swearing once to make himself look like a hero. Overly, might I add. I could understand if it was concentrated only towards the actual RA2 sections, but in the Movies and Music bit? That had nothing to do with anything.65% Warn for swearing? You've got to be kidding. What are their priorities again? 2217

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Death Battle« on: March 31, 2012, 07:17:22 AM »Like when starscream was beaten by a freaking pony.Actually, there was legitimate reason for that. As much as I like G1 Starscream (I tend to see him as the Decepticon equivalent of Naryar), I think it was his comparatively slower speed (as fast as he may be in Transformer terms with his alternate form), lack of agility, poor aim (If he'd got even a few good hits in with any of his more powerful weapons, such as his Minigun or Missiles, it would've been the end of Dash on the spot) and his own scheme backfiring on him that put him out of commission there. And on the bright side, due to his indestructible Spark, he's technically the first character on there to survive a loss. 2219
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Battle Shots« on: March 31, 2012, 07:08:35 AM »
Ah, it must be something to do with the tyres. Generally, if something heavy (Like an opponent's chassis) sits on top of them, it prevents them from turning properly.

Funny thing is, that's more or less what happened...except with a sheep that fell from the sky, and the aforementioned Ass Pull of a power.
That was definitely my personal DMOS for the series. The Master Chief vs Doomguy fight I could tolerate, but this? Just no. |
