I don't believe it. Vimto served its purpose of soaking up damage for the entire match perfectly. That self righting issue that I was completely unaware of was its downfall though. Still, at least Spectrum got through okay

The beater has a cool shape. Would probably get wrecked by a true VS due to the number of small extenders. Got a lot of potential though for refining the setup.

A dsl bar setup I've found works and looks good (if you have cf patch installed) is a hex plate attached to the motor, then run colored al extenders off in each direction, then place the dsl bars on each side of the hex. Basicslly making a "sandwich" bar. That way damage to the primary bar doesn't take out both, plus it's more colorful and allows you to attach beaters or other weapons to the bars as well.

You could probably use a couple of wedgelets or even just angle extenders because I think you won't be able to get robots into your blade in VS mode.
I agree. With the half moon style supports, it gets difficult for a VS to hit anything low. I used wedgelets on BBS and most bots could still get under.

Since the bars themselves don't do a ton of damage, I'd go slimmer dsl bars with beaters. The Billet series being my favorite examples.

Early stage concept. It's a cookie, it's a crab, it's Mr Cookie. MW, Al5(?), invertible, miniminion disc on a flatmotor. Most pertinent fix is I need to widen the large claw spread so that opponents can go deeper and get hit by the disc. Fast and fun to use though. Oh and maybe I'll skin the disc too. Could skin bot and claws to be a crab, and make the disc a cookie, who knows.
