I have the opposite problem. Put DSL 3 on a clean game and I'm the one with bizarre controls.
Nah, that's exactly it x) DSL3 changes the wheels to do that. You need to reverse your controls, that's all. Clockwise becomes counterclockwise and vice versa. Luckily you're in the position where you haven't got several dozen bots to fix.

What Craaig said. Was it on top of DSL 3, Ironforge or something of that vein? They reverse wheel traction or something for some reason.

Well damn. That was unexpected. Also unexpectedly no havoks. Nice. And some retribution for our host. Lightning fast tourney updates, RedAce. And good show for continuing without a good showing.

My ears aren't bleeding. That's a start.

Well, my expectations were blown. That first match was pretty much worst case scenario for me. But I'm satisfied. GG. I was hoping Tumblr would eventually flip over in plain view and people would get to see the patriarchy hashtag. Ha. The rumbles are a good idea. Should be interesting to watch.

So it's a rematch for the final. It must be said, the one downfall to otherwise solid contenders, that external drive. The sooner Pinhead Larry dies, hopefully without losing a motor, the better for Thrack. But then Dirty Dan would have to put up with two drums somehow for the win. Hmm.

Either we didn't get enough time to formulate our predictions, or almost everyone figured team battles aren't to be predicted, and it shows. Kurt's favourite team couldn't catch a break. There's.. more climatic ways to win matches. But yay?

I'm not sure what I expected. At all. I.. guess the only thing I really expected were RedAce's bot selection, because we already knew it.
Thought my two bots would be a bit more cooperative but I suppose they're not ripping each other apart so it's cool x)

There's a lot of names here that I don't recognize at all, but I did think yours was familiar. You might remember me under my old moniker. Not for the right reasons, of course. God I was a little ****nugget. Though thinking about it, you must have seen Redline too, because we both entered BBEANS 2 at the time. God I was still a little ****nugget then.

Ah darn! Do you guys know where I can get the component that allowed me to attach things as though they were attached to the base of the robot? It was like a little green dot, and I could scroll the component up and down where it attach in mid-air above the green dot.
I believe it was called the universal anchor?
Firebeetle's Component Pack. On the listing it calls it the Mega Adapter. Brings me back. http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/robotarena.htm

Great news with RoboGames.
MegaBots... they're probably promising too much with the explosions and stuff, but what they have looks badass with just the spud cannons. I'd put money down if I had some to throw around and they weren't comically underfunded.

Because Electroplate can now be repaired only by it's armor value, Electroplate + Medic == Retardedly OP
I'm confused. So the medigun only has to repair the armour value now, and it was doing armour and shield beforehand? Or something else?

I feel really sad for Redline. He deserved more votes.
I think I would have made more of an impact with component retextures but then I suppose you wouldn't know exactly what plow I used and stuff. Caught all of you out, though. I thought the splash style would of given it away. I guess it's been too long since I did anything.

Has two decent projectiles that can really zone out slower characters. Smashes are good range too.

I'm not really a judge for Ironforge but I'll see what I can do.
1. Looks strong. Skin I can't decide if a custom edge lining would make it better. Splash could of used a little more attention. 2. Great splash idea, bot looks terrifying, only gripe would be the same as Nar's, small pictures. 3. Well built, it's like those DSL 3 IRL bots I'm seeing. Splash is rushed though. 4. Genius. A new era of bot building and presentation is upon us. 5. Oho, this looks cool. And I assume it's stable? I'm liking this. 6. This whole free ballast thing is confusing. Looks competently done, worry about the exposed motors. 7. I'm not exactly a giraffe judge either. I thought they had more yellow... fur(?) then brown? 8. I can't tell what's going on here. 9. Cool, cool. Really needed an actual skin, though. I don't think I'll vote for 'ot' 10. Doesn't look as powerful as the others, but it's a neat design. Good skin too. Overall, I like it. 11. This must be one of those detail-oriented IRL builders. Or not. I'm not sure how complicated it really is. But it looks badass. I considered the splash to be it's downfall on my mobile but now that I see it on PC I kind of like it in a minimalistic way.
I'd say, of the lot... 2, 3, 5, 10, 11. I'll have to think carefully about which to vote for.

You've got 4, it won't be on the scale you expected, but you can still do it. 2 weeks is a bit long to wait considering the lack of visible interest. Give it a week?

Okay, so I'm taking note here on all of your recommendations, and I'm left with a few questions: I have to ask: is the apparent hatred of square extenders purely aesthetic? I downloaded from the Custom Components the Steel Square Extender thinking it might be best choice given its description. I have chosen the Red Birds for the saved space, since it was my intention to have burst motors for the front and both sides (helpful for battles against multiple robots), but would it be better to just go with the ZTeks regardless? The N12s I put on because I had completely forgotten which wheels actually were best and those seemed "okay enough" - Don't get me wrong, I'd use the stock square extenders over the round ones any day, if they had any benefit other then looking cooler. The problem is they weigh 5kg for every 20cm, compared to the round extenders' 2kg for every 20cm. They aren't any tougher, or any other sort of statistical or tactical benefit - they just look nice, at the cost of a whole lot of extra weight. Extra weight that can be used to add more weapons. - Redbirds aren't worth their weight and long dimensions. Everyone would just go for the Z-Tek, yeah. Plan your bot around your components, not the components around your bot. - There's two go-to wheels in stock - Shiny Hubs for the saved weight, and Rubber Wheels because they offer virtually perfect (if not perfect) ground clearance on a Z-Tek motor. There's no grip differences or HP differences like in DSL. The other wheels rank on a scale from niche uses to useless.

Well, it's a bit of a mess. Everything's all over the place, Redbirds are poor, N12s are wasted weight if they don't serve to keep your bot invertible, high ground clearance, square extenders look far cooler but are essentially useless compared to round extenders, saws in stock, vulnerable to wedges.
This is all assuming this is stock and not custom superparts that turn it into a invincible chariot of death, though. In which case constructive commentry/criticism would go out the window.

Possibly even the recordings of that lass in the AOD Botlab if possible. She was so damn annoying. Wouldn't even let you continue building your robot until she'd shut up. I used to build bots with mute on and chalked the delays to lag.
Weird. I never had that problem. I could just keep going about my business and she'd cut off when I did. Anyway, late commentary here, this is looking phenomenal. Half of those pictures I can't tell if they are replicas or real with the background removed.
