iRacing's site is probally the best place to look. But other sites like VirtualR ect may be good to look at as they post up iRacing news quite often.

I have iRacing.
There are some demos out there. But the best thing to do is wait for one of the special promotions on the big races like the Indy 500 ect. 223

Saving my bots then deleting all teams solved the problem.

General Support / Odd Bot Select Problem.« on: February 06, 2010, 10:07:32 PM »
Here's the problem. I build a bot, and go to test in exhibition mode. Selecting the bot i want to test doesn't work, it decides to load up either a blank splash thingy which crashes the game, or it loads another bot on another team, which sometimes crashes the game. It decided to start doing this yesterday for no apparent reason, and no apparent cause.

Hmm... I'll try them upright, but will also try some of the other spikes ect.
[EDIT] I tried 4 Large Beater Bars, they seem to perfrom pretty good. HAd to sacrifice a battery, but it still has plenty of juice. 231
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Pressure Bots« on: January 22, 2010, 04:51:32 AM »
What would a better way of mounting them be? Possibly upright?

DSL TC Showcases / Re: Pressure Bots« on: January 22, 2010, 12:15:23 AM »![]() I edited Smash Revolution and Speedbird a bit. Smash Revo V1.1 now has beater bars in-place if the Lightning Spikes. They seem to fare a bit better in battle. Speedbird 2 has had a major revidion since Speedbird V1.2 (It had an ineffective disc after the saw blade). It is now a VS with thicker armour (5mm Plastic rather than 1mm). None of the innards have been changed to warrant an inside picture. 233

The motor seems fine for spinning a saw blade.
It weigh's 246KG or something, and has the same armour as Smash Revolution. It's only a test bot, so it will probally be improved over time. 235

![]() A prototype bot. Untested as of yet. It pretty much has the same innards as Smash Revolution. 236
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Pressure Bots« on: January 20, 2010, 03:14:23 PM »Say there Rotary-nut! I like that bot. How does it fare in battle? I have never attempted a LW FBS before. I figured that the bot would be too light to keep stable. When it lands a solid hit, does the bot reflect back a lot because it is so light? I fares rather admirably in battle. Doesn't really get flung around, but it does tend to Mauler Dance a bit. P.S. Those Ant Batteries seem to pack a little more punch than the two Battlepacks it had before. 237
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Pressure Bots« on: January 20, 2010, 01:00:00 AM »You can perfectly do it with 3 (or 4) ant batts. I had to sacrifice 4 panels and spikes to save weight unfortunatly. I'll try the 4 Ant Batteries and see how it goes. 238
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Pressure Bots« on: January 19, 2010, 11:12:32 PM »![]() Possible BBEANS 6 entry. Now the basics. 2 Battlepacks to suffcient power (battery drains reasonably quickly.) 2 TWM Drive Motors. 1 Double TWM for the Sheck (It's sufficient enough to spin it, for a lightweight.) 3mm Plastic for weight saving. And the rest can be seen in the pictures. I am working on some other lightweights for possible entry. 239
