And now I have Animal Crossing New Leaf, arrived yesterday. Pokemon X is on pre-order, and I may get Oracle of Ages/Seasons at some point.

Like a cheating exgf coming back with some STD. Still don't want.

Well, now that they have extracted the pickaxes from their brain and removed their tin foil hats and have stopped muttering something about pre-owned games stealing their money, it may actually be worth it. Saying that, it would've been unfathomably moronic to not do something, considering how (according to my dad) 75% of an Xbox orientated forum said they would get a PS4 on a poll. If your fanboys are against you, you know you screwed up big time.

When I think about it horde battles may not be so hot. Mostly good for draining out your PP - yes it's good for a few novelty matches but holy a horde of Zubat appeared, or worse a horde of Wobbuffet appeared.

It would just mean you would need a Pokemon/a few moves dedicated to hitting all Pokemon, so stuff like Earthquake and Surf. It also depends on if they balance other moves to hit other squares, as well as, obviously, how rare horde battles actually are.

Minecraft has a legion versus that community.

I'm guessing that by 'better' he means kinder, as in the people there aren't looking to fill the creatiom that took you several hours to build with TNT and find a way to make you unknowingly flip the switch/flip the switch themselves. Or fill your house/mineshaft with bedrock, or something.
Griefers are going to grief. I don't consider them as part of the legion of minecraft players.

And besides, I'm talking about on the forums. The people are pretty kind and helpful last time I checked.

I know, but it depends on whether you go by observing the community, or whether you take stories about a few people and then say that's the majority of players.

Cutting Crew - (I Just) Died in your Arms Tonight, pretty much forever because it was my favourite song for ages (due to my mum playing it to me a lot as a child).

Tally Hall - Ruler of Everything and Turn the Lights Off, still in my head since I first heard them a few weeks ago.

Savage Garden - Two Beds and a Coffee Machine was for a few weeks back when I first listened to Savage Garden.

There are other songs floating around in my head as well, but I can't really be bothered to list them all.

Ugh why do people rip off Minecraft so much, it isn't even funny.
This is designed for older computers that CANT RUN MINECRAFT. IT IS NOT A RIPOFF

Trying to say it is not a ripoff is like me making something like Devil May Cry, except replacing all the models with really rubbish models, releasing it for free and saying it isn't a ripoff because it is designed to work on older machines.
Its coded in C++ and Lua.
And its not just the graphics
Minecraft servers need 4 GB of RAM
Minetest servers can run comfortably on 128 MB of RAM

Just because it is coded in a different language and can run at lower specs, does not make it any less like Minecraft. It looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, tastes like a duck, it is a duck. It looks like Minecraft (heck, it even uses the same sprites), plays like Minecraft, and has mods like Minecraft, that are easy to install like (most of) Minecraft's ones (the only one I can remember being a pain was the Uranium mod), the only difference is the language that it's coded it, that it can run at lower specs, and is free (I can't talk about sounds since I haven't played Minetest). You can't deny that it is a carbon copy of Minecraft. To do so is silly.

Edit: Just did a quick play, and it sounds the same, possibly lower quality sounds.

I swear to god that is the exact same sapling sprite

Same for the torch sprite, and the other sprites look to just be very slightly changed Minecraft Sprites. But it's like a free Minecraft without having to pirate it. Not seen any screenshots that show mobs, but that doesn't mean anything. It seems to have some things from the Tekkit side of things too.

And this game is definitely not Minecraft. I mean seriously, look how different it looks.

So it is exactly like Minecraft except less straining on the computer? So if Minecraft had a 'Super Ultra Low' setting for graphics, then it would be Minetest? Trying to say it is not a ripoff is like me making something like Devil May Cry, except replacing all the models with really rubbish models, releasing it for free and saying it isn't a ripoff because it is designed to work on older machines.

It even has the same UI and everything.

And those totally item sprites totally don't look exactly like Minecraft ones.

The question is how quickly will people hack it so that everything works regardless, thus nullifying every bit of security and returning it to the whole 'this security is only screwing over people abiding by the law'?

I really hope Sony doesn't do the same

Well, they are already going downhill with the £600 pricetag on the console £90 for the controller, and the games are marked as £90 as well (the Xbox One is the same on all accounts). To be honest though, I don't think Nintendo will stop pushing the WiiU until it reaches the 3DS standard of 'why can't I hold all these games I want', and that will happen regardless of whether the other consoles fail miserably or not. I do doubt that Sony will be as moronic as Microsoft, but it is possible (although, if they keep the PS+ style system, I suppose that they will be one above MS unless it is radically changed for the worse).

Still looking for a stock teammate here. I shot around a couple of PM's but to no avail as of right now. So I shall ask again, anyone?

Assuming my bot doesn't trigger the 'no joke bots' rule, and assuming you are happy with it, I will try to make an entry now.

WhyNotZtek = One of the most unique bots here. I'm wondering if it has 1 or 2 pinks, if it has 1 then the weapon motor won't get to full speed making the use of the Ztek pointless but if it has 2 pinks then it could do OK, having 1 razor and an exposed motor will make it a bit of a glass cannon though.

Nah, it only has one pink, and plastic armour. I only made it as an experiment to see if I could make an AW with a Ztek. It worked, but the end result is terrible, it will go out in its first match with little to no trouble due to the fact that a few of good rams from anything will remove the motor. I'm not sure the AI will stop it spinning when the bot is out of range, if not, then it will move incredibly slowly, thus making it even weaker. But, as an experiment, it worked. Just like my experiment to make a HW out of an AW chassis. Unless it gets very very lucky, it'll be out in no time at all. But at least it was quite fun making it, and shaving pixels off of the chassis to reduce weight.

Wait, why doesn't Pokemon count?

Because there have been a couple of Pokemon games on PC (both of them trading card games, one of which was released for Windows 95, the other is from Thyrus' post on the first page).

there`s a pkmn raiding card game for pc
Link? is it official?

http://www.pokemontcg.com/

it looks like it is.

Just like Legend of Zelda doesn't count because of the CDi versions

^ Not quite, PGR had two mobile releases and started off on the Dreamcast as MSR.

Guess I should've double checked that one.

Drakengard for Sony. Singstar for Sony. Lips for Xbox.

Etrian Odyssey for Nintendo. Professor Layton for Nintendo. Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training (or one of the other training ones) for Nintendo. The Imagine series of games for Nintendo. Spectrobes for Nintendo. Everybody's Golf/Tennis for Sony. Crazy Frog Racing for Sony. Buzz for Sony. Eye of Judgement for Sony. Invizimals for Sony. Project Gotham Racing for Xbox. Crackdown for Xbox. Scene it for Xbox.
