If they were allowed straight back in, it would set a hideous precedent for other clubs. They'd basically be saying "Okay, you can <expletive> all your money away with no consequence". At least if they were sent down to Division 3 or whatever, it might spur other football clubs to actually be sensible with money for a change. As such they cannot kick Rangers out, because then the football there would become even worse somehow. 225

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: June 12, 2012, 12:28:43 PM »Valencia, Silverstone, Hockenheim, Hungaroring...Sauber might do quite well in the next few races. We could see Kobayashi on the podium in one of them, I reckon. He was running second in Canada last year when the red flag came out, that's the thing I remember.Banzai Koboyashi tends to do well at his home race as well near the end of the year. You never know... 229

Expect Marussia to be legitimately passed by HRT by the end of the year, and then to be out of the sport not too long after. 230

Yeah, Glock drives for Marussia...

Would be great if he managed to drag that Caterham into the points though, I could see that happening this year. 232

Perez is doing great considering how he used to get treated like crap as people thought he bought his way into the team. Kobayashi's always been pretty good, too. 234

Perez is doing great considering how he used to get treated like crap as people thought he bought his way into the team. Kobayashi's always been pretty good, too. I don't think Perez was ever that badly criticised, he's not a pay driver, he just brings a good chunk of sponsorship, and he was a part of Ferrari's young driver development program for a reason, which he is showing wonderfully this year. Sauber have the best driver combo IMO, and a good solid car as well. I don't see Grosjean being able to beat Kimi this year at all. Enstone have historically struggled with development in comparisson to the other teams around them (don't forget last year, at the start of the season, they had a car which was capable of achieving podiums, even in the hands of an average driver, but by the end of the year they were barely faster than the Caterhams) and while Raikkonen has in the past dragged the best out of poor cars, while Grosjean has not. Even if the car does remain up to standards, Raikkonen is as cool as they come, while I can see Grosjean buckling under the pressure of the new prospects that have been placed on him. Grosjean will have his chance, against Perez in a few years time. 235

Well we'll see how everything goes for Nintendo when it's released, for now, it's just wait and see where they take it next.
I agree with the comment about fanboys though (despite being at heart a massive Sega fan), too often companies or games are branded automatically based simply on which company has produced it, or on the current gaming trends the market has bought into. Anyway, i'll stop rambling now. In terms of uses for the Wii-U, A sequel to Eternal Darkness could be amazing. 237
Off-Topic Discussion / Re: General Chatter Thread« on: June 11, 2012, 10:53:04 AM »I reckon that's a good thing, though. It's better than a Schumacher/Ferrari or Vettel/RBR combination dominating the season, because then it just becomes boring and tedious. So the Canadian Formula 1 race is now over. Who would have put money on THAT podium?Yeah, but it does seem to be the nature of this season. Raikkonen to win this year. Please. 238
Existing Games / Re: Epic uses for the Wii U gamepad. (be creative!)« on: June 10, 2012, 12:45:53 PM »solitanze over at the ign board thought up this that i found interesting: A touch screen allows for controls to be built around a program, that's the major benefit (the only real benefit other than "oh look at me I am fingering the screen of my electronic device"). If touch screen technology is as advanced as many companies are saying, why not then base the whole controls system around the concept rather than just slapping a big ass screen in the middle of a controller and using it for some more artificial set pieces, or some extra menus. It seems to me like the WiiUs controller is going to be treated the same way the DS controls system ended up being treated. This could be avoided if they sort out their software management, but I haven't seen any evidence of them doing so so far (but i could be wrong in that respect, given their losses this year, I imagine Nintendo must be doing something to rectify the problems they suffered from last gen.) 239
