Or maybe certain members could team up to represent a country. Otherwise there'd be a lot of entries from the US, several entries from england, etc. Not that thats neccisserily a bad thing, but you may end up with entries for the same country fighting each other.

You make splashes in anything that lets you make images basically. MS Paint, GIMP, Photoshop, Macrmedia Fireworks, anything like that. All you have to do is put an image or two of your bot into the image, crop it so all you see is the robot, and basically make the splash look as cool as possible!
For BOTM, they can be no taller than 800pixels and no wider than 700pixels. They should have at least two images of the bot, one showing the bot normal as is, and one showing an 'inside' pic of the bot. You should also display the bots name in flashy writing, and also its weight. Thats all you HAVE to add, but you can also have battle shots and as many other pictures as you want. =)

Maybe for a career mode you start off in series one and work your way to series seven. I know no one is taking this too seriously but if it was going to have a title, hopefully it would be better than RW:Super Destruction =P No offence Jonzu...

I used to play it quite a lot, when I was ten or eleven. My bot actually evolved from the default bot you get at the start of the game, and instead of selling it I just kept on improving it and earning more money by winning.
It was a low wedge with a pneumatic axe and spikes at the back, titanium armour, and those googly bloodshot eyes. It didn't have twelve wheels.

Welcome to the forums anyway. First things first, have a look around the place, get a feel for how things work around here and take a look at peoples bots in the showcase, and maybe learn from them. Then use whatever you've learned in your own showacase. Showcases are important. If you don't make one sooner or later, no one can tell you if your bots are any good or not, and no one can tell you how to improve, and if you never improve, you may never win BOTM...
No pressure though, have a look round first =)

You see a button on the top right of your keyboard which says 'pause' and then 'break' underneath? You press that and it pauses everything. Press it again and everything unpauses but this time you should be able to attach the spikes, if you couldn't before.
I've never actually used it before but I think thats the idea.

Instead of putting irons directly onto the disk, attach a Y-connector or use black extenders, that way you can put at least twice as many irons on and do double the damage.

Chassis need to be smaller, you should be useing shiny hub wheels and you haven't built to the weight limit. And I'm sure you've been told all this before?
I know it might seem like people are being hard on you, but its only because you don't seem to be listening to their advice. If you don't know exactly what someone means by something, try looking it up on the forums or the RA2 Wiki before asking. Also, look around at other peoples showcases for ideas and info, look at what people tell them and learn from them.

Anyway I like Jack Daniels idea. Notwithstanding the fact this thread was origonaly made for ideas for BOTM JULY, which has already been picked - the idea that is, not the bot - now it seems to be BOTM idea in general?

I only asked because I do a little Go-Karting myself. Not professionally, although I think I could certainly start a career if I had the funding.
