I feel bad now that I've stolen your spot. Your bots deserve to be in B4ttlebots way more than mine do.
Oh you jerkface >:U Ehh, it's not your fault. There were 15 open spots, I was the 16th to enter. If anything, the 15 other people should feel worse Although if they are Metal Hinges on the flipper, then I have to say poor show. I don't know why I missed that the first time around.
I'd be inclined to agree with you actually. Door hinges aren't really IRL, just added them out of habit I guess. Time for an update! *Off to build*

Hopefully this will drum up some interest.

D:
But I still like it. You can add a third air tank raised above the other two in the middle.
There are 4 tanks actually. Hooray for stacking.

*Is dissapointed that MNB's My Little Pwnies tourney isn't full yet* Hopefully this will drum up some interest. Because I have a morbid sense of humour, Glue Factory! In testing, it easily outwedges RPB in both the Combat Arena and the Metal Skull arena, even with E-wedges. Oh, and when building this bot, I finally figured out how to eFFe with pistons like a pro. It only took me 5 years :P

Nothing too wild and crazy, just some IRL bots.
LW bar spinner: (Image removed from quote.)
Another LW spinner. Also entry into SheetMetal, Hammer of the North: (Image removed from quote.)
MW bar spinner and entry into B4ttlebots, TempesT: (Image removed from quote.)
HW flipper that I think looks kinda cool: (Image removed from quote.)
And Onslaught, a HW rammer that I was also going to enter into B4ttlebots, until the HW bracket filled up (it also has three spikes on the back, but you can't see them): (Image removed from quote.)
Quoted for ease of viewing, and I forgot to post a couple. A MW HS that I'm not terribly fond of. A bit bulky for my tastes: The MW counterpart to Onslaught: And another angle of Onslaught that shows the rear spikes: *Goes to eat lunch*

A) It wasn't a popup, 'twas a VS (that I consider a drum). Nary's design is actually quite different than my own - they're technically entirely different types.
B) I built it in 2011, about 7 years after the game came out. I'm hardly in a position to claim originality on anything ever.
C) Don't side with Nary. If you do, it will only make his already out-of-control ego grow (we're trying to keep it under the size of a small planetoid. The promotion to glomod didn't help :P).

Actually, it's little more than a drum, which Clickbeetle obviously invented back in '83. PROOF: https://gametechmods.com/RA2wiki/index.php?title=DrumblebeeAlso, I know that there's a "no swearing" rule in the main forum. However, allow me to draw attention to your PT: You're not just swearing in the main forum, YOU'RE SWEARING EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. That is all.

I may be bested in battle, but I shall never be defeated. [/dak'kon]
You got this, man. Why? Because the weapon system you have is ingenious. I should know because YOU STOLE IT FROM ME :D

How have you mounted the drive on the green snapper (pics please)? It looks either uneven or you have some AGOD going on there, both of which will hamper your bot's performance.

*How did I not know about this?* Apparantly, there's a hidden track in Tool's 10,000 Days created by playing "Viginti Tres" and "Wings for Marie" back to back, and then overlaying the both of them on the title track, "10,000 Days." Overall, it's not too different from "10,000 Days" by itself, but it adds a really cool atmosphere and more depth to the song, as if Tool really needed more of that already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFjEp79zaNw&feature=related#ws

Like I said, totally out to lunch.
I remember her and eFFe entered as a team in ianh05's Tag Team Tourney on the old forums. Maybe that's where I got that idea from.

And 5 isn't R0B0 ?
=> nice clone there SM
What's it a clone of?
1) It's not a clone of any of my bots - the DSL drums I've won BotM for have been Barbarous-style drums like so: 2) If anything, it's a clone of Sage's HW Mammoth. I've built LW versions of it too a while back (the first ones showcased, IIRC), but I never built a MW.

Was skimming this thread, figured I might as well upload this nose orientaiton guide I made a while ago. Hope this helps someone.

I am extremely disappointed that #3 was allowed at all. IT'S A RAMMER. Thus, it should have been disqualified immediately. I'm shocked, frankly, that so many people voted for it.
The criteria was a "DSL MW drum bot" Is it DSL? Yes. Is it a MW? Yes. Is it a drum? Yes. Is it a bot? Yes. The rules never specified that the robot had to have a drum weapon. Therefore #3 was perfectly legal. And awesome.

Part of the problem may be the nature of the "warn level" system. From what I understand, once your warn level reaches 100%, you are banned for x amount of time. If this is the case, then adding to warn level for extremely minor off-topic conversations is far too large a punishment, as it contributes towards members being banned. It's like doing 52 kph in a 50 kph speed zone, and having your car impounded as punishment. The punishment simply does not fit the crime.
The warn level system, if it indicates proximity to a ban, should only be used for serious offences such as flame wars, excessive spamming, multi-accounting, etc. In the case of one or two slightly off-topic posts in a showcase, a deletion of the offending posts and a written warning is sufficient. Much more is overkill.
Oh, and I disagree with your definition of spam, Nary. Off-topic is simply a discussion that is not along the same lines as the original post. Spam is both off-topic and irrelevant to the conversation. Spamming showcases is not the same as going off-topic, and I believe that it's absolutely critical that this distinction is made and recognized by the moderation staff. EDIT: Fixed some grammar.
