It would definitely fall under the "weapon spam" category for IRL. But it should be reasonably nippy, and reasonably durable as well. Might want to get an extra ant or two, just so it keeps going the whole match.

Doesn't look too bad, I don't think. Rear protection might be a little bit pointless, but maybe keep the spike to stop yourself getting stranded. I'm guessing it's invertible too. Still keeping a little bit of the IRL feel, but should do pretty well in regular combat, as Valid Query 2 did. Internals?

Nice to see you building again, Vert. =) It doesn't look too bad, but I might want to try improving the wedges somehow. Seems this would suffer from Bounty Hunter Syndrome, and that would undermine the whole bot, I think.

That looks rather interesting. If it weren't for the hammer, I reckon I could probably do rather well against that. =) In case you're interested, I've entered Schizophrenia, that 3-Nifty 36HS that you liked.

It's a realistic Ion. (Edit: Damn you, smashy.) Doesn't look too bad, I don't think, would probably do better if the shell were more balanced with their weaponry.

Vlad wedges are about as good at getting under stuff as an office chair. Sadly, there is no hard and fast way of making a good wedge. If you remove one burst motor, swap the Astros for TWMR3's, then turn this into a true popup, i.e. having the weapons pointing upwards, starting between the Metal and Skirt hinges, that would shift the center of gravity forwards, and possibly improve your wedges. Either that, or you might have to get the edge of the skirt hinge wedges to the same level as the metal hinge one. If you raise the End Of Arc, or whatever it's called of the skirt hinge, that allows it to lift up past the metal hinge in case you've overshot.

Tastes like SWARM. How's the reach on that weaponry, though? Cutting teeth look like they might get in the way.

I think you've won about 9 tournaments or something, Naryar. According to your Wiki. I've won 5, but I've finished in the top four around 15 times or so. I'm like the Andy Murray of Robot Arena 2. Maybe something like this could work, apart from the "Regional weighting". That wouldn't make any sense here at all. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_World_Rankings#Current_calculation_method

Well to be honest, it takes a lot more skill to win a BBEANS tournament than a NOOB warz tournament.
Should we apply a different weighting for them, in that case? for instance, Noob Warz champion would net you about 3 points, and BBEANS would earn you 5? Or maybe finishing in second, third and fourth could score points too. I've done that a lot, rather annoyingly. Perhaps we could try something similar to the World Tennis Rankings, or whatnot. Depending on how they work.

Something else I didn't know until a few months ago, is that if you set up a wind turbine in Scotland, then no matter where in the country the electricity it generates is going, you'll be charged the same transmission fees as if it was going all the way to London. Why that is, I have absolutely no idea.

And since this one has one less HPZ to eat the battery, it should last longer This is what I thought when I built the original Schizophrenia, although... No, you're all wrong.
The most important thing that I found is this: Spin motor MEMIOR has no effect whatsoever on battery drain. That's right, folks. Doesn't matter if it's a reverse angle motor, an HP Z-tek, a Dual Perm, or even a custom "gasoline" motor with -0.0001 MEMIOR. They all drain the same amount of electricity.

Nah, the drive is static. But as we saw with Tornado in whatever tournament it was entered into, it's deadly, but hideously unstable. And low on batteries. I'd be surprised if this was anything but. Good build, though.

Back to some regular DSL for a bit. 397.4, 6 ants, NPCF's, Plastic 3. Can still move about upside-down, protective skirts on the top because I had weight left over. Tried Hypno wheels, and the bot wouldn't move. Wedges are decent but not great. Takes stuff apart quite nicely, though.

Looking beastly, though. I do like the flamp idea, the Judge Burst has a of a kick coming back down, maybe someone could make it work properly. I take it the Ripping Tooth on the top helps with self-righting, similar to the pair of them on Taur II.

Scotland's fine, it's just the people that let it down.
