Stocks Revenge tourney bot fail. Dang Boxing gloves don't do very much damage. Had to abandon this project and go with something else. q.q

If I had more money and time I would build a decent middleweight out of an old Motorcycle gas tank I found near some railroad tracks. While, it is a bit heavy... gas tanks are built to take a huge beating. Back when Battlebots was in season 2 on comedy central I aspired to build a bot and go to Vegas. I amassed a decent amount of wheels, electronics, motors, and misc junk but never actually got the time to put it together into anything destructive.

you can! you probably feel attracted to the magnet. but i don't have a DL link just now. i'll PM you my mail add so i can later send it over with msn.
Perhaps you already know... but there is a file uploader on the left hand side of the GTM main site. That way you can just let the site host and sent the link to your friends, enemies, family, loved ones, pets, authority figures, etc etc. B.T.W. I reeaaaaaaly like how you set up your pics as spoilers in the message like that. It keeps it really clean. Interesting idea. The rammer is cool looking. Looking forward to seeing more of your bots.

Think of it like this:
That secret AP acts like a servo. When you go garage and back, it will always return to its original position, which is shown by the little black square.
Hey thanks! I don't think I ever really noticed that pattern. I kept getting frustrated with it. :P Your input is appreciated. Shame shame G.K. How could you possibly think that innocent, little, fuzzy, harmless Pwn would cheat?

That is another attachment point on blue snappers. I think it is the main way that the experts are able to make those amazing compact horizontal spinners in stock.
Personally, I hate that attachment point. Whenever I make a bot and save it... the attachment point changes locations even if I dont rotate the snapper... therefore screwing up my bot. I don't understand how some builders manage to use that connection point so efficiently.

Entry sent. Decided not to go with the Popup Killer that I designed. Made something different that fares better against a wide variety of opponents.

I'm still on XP but Robo ran into a problem like this with Win7... the stuff ended up in a Compatibility Folder of some sort. I'm not sure if Vista also has compatibility folders as well... Might want to just to a filesearch of one of the bot names and see where it ended up.

And a big question I've aways had was why didn't Apple put in all those customizable features that you get from jail breaking your Ipod in the actual Ipod.
Why spend precious payroll money when hackers across the globe will do it for free? Plus, If you let the online community "hack" your products you are not responsible to fix them under warranty when the product gets screwed up. In the long run you end up selling more units because people mess up their ipods and its not technically Apples fault. It is actually pretty savvy tech business practice... Nintendo has been doing it for a while too.

Haha. I was working on a Coal Miner redo today as well. The fat chassis is a bit of a killer though. Last week I remade Boxer, but it failed so bad I cried in the corner for hours like a little girl lost in the night. :P (because it looked so damn cool when I was finished... but was horrible doing damage)
Is your boxer remake decent in combat?

Even though others have said it... I am going to say it too. It's so unrealistic it makes my head hurt.

I think most of these savages are just waiting for you to post a totally legal bot so that they can tear it to shreds with constructive feedback.
Who are you talking about ?
(unsure about the grammar)
I didn't have anyone in particular in mind when I said that. I was just giving the new guy a heads-up on the possible perils of getting feedback from the forum. Sometimes it is brutal. Kinda like fraternal hazing. In fact, I am just going to stop giving feedback about bots now and just post a picture of a paddle whenever I don't like something about a bot.

On a side note... it is really nice to see that Somebody can post a bot nowadays and not get flamed to death.
I remember the days when he would post a bot and you would swear that he just kicked a puppy into a kiddie pool filled with road salt and broken glass. Everyone seemed to give him crap about everything.
Just wanted to say, glad you are strong enough to survive all that crap and still enjoy having a showcase.
