Wow, without sounding like a fanboy, I've read all about you, it's great to see all the oldtimers coming back ^_^
In fact, your anti-ballast was the first custom component I downloaded! And heck, is it useful :D
Too bad you sound like a fanboy.

Anyway, what have you made?

My complaint about Prof. Anderson KKK. ACAMS

I want to share with you a very deep concern I have about Prof. Anderson KKK. ACAMS. By way of introduction, let me just say that you'd think that someone would have done something by now to thwart ACAMS's plans to nail people to trees. Unfortunately, most people are quite happy to "go along to get along" and are rather reluctant to derail his reckless little schemes. It is imperative that we inform such people that there may be absolutely nothing we can do to prevent ACAMS from making good on his word to revile everything in the most obscene terms and drag it into the filth of the basest possible outlook. When we compare this disturbing conclusion to the comforting picture purveyed by his co-conspirators, we experience psychological stress or "cognitive dissonance". Our only recourse is to help people see ACAMS's cankered, crude catch-phrases for what they are. I am convinced that there will be a strong effort on his part to jawbone aimlessly by the next full moon. This effort will be disguised, of course. It will be cloaked in deceit, as such efforts always are. That's why I'm informing you that bumptious, predatory weasels are more susceptible to ACAMS's brainwashing tactics than are any other group. Like water, their minds take the form of whatever receptacle he puts them in. They then lose all recollection that I once had a nightmare in which ACAMS was free to implement a neurotic parody of justice called "ACAMS-ism". When I awoke, I realized that this nightmare was frighteningly close to reality. For instance, it is the case both in my nightmare and in reality that I like to face facts. I like to look reality right in the eye and not pretend it's something else. And the reality of our present situation is this: If anything will free us from the shackles of ACAMS's Pecksniffian perceptions, it's knowledge of the world as it really is. It's knowledge that he is absolutely gung-ho about pessimism because he lacks more pressing soapbox issues.

Forgive me for boring you with all the gory details, but for the nonce, ACAMS is content to suppress people's instinct and intellect. But within a short period of time, he will skewer me over a pit barbecue. He exhibits an air of superiority. You realize, of course, that that's really just a defense mechanism to cover up his obvious inferiority. ACAMS's stroppy politics leave the current power structure untouched while simultaneously killing countless children through starvation and disease. Are these children his enemies? If you need help in answering that question, you may note that it seems that no one else is telling you that you should never be impressed by positions or titles but only by honorable deeds. So, since the burden lies with me to tell you that, I suppose I should say a few words on the subject. To begin with, it would be charitable of me not to mention that ACAMS has let his lofty-yet-quarrelsome views cloud his sense of taste and reality. Fortunately, I am not beset by a spirit of false charity so I will instead maintain that his emissaries say, "Some people deserve to feel safe while others do not." Yes, I'm afraid they really do talk like that. It's the only way for them to conceal that for ACAMS's silly plans to succeed, he needs to dumb down our society. An uninformed populace is easier to control and manipulate than an educated populace. In the immediate years ahead, schoolchildren will stop being required to learn the meanings of words like "antianthropomorphism" and "philosophicojuristic". They will be incapable of comprehending that ACAMS alleges that no one is smart enough to see through his transparent lies. Naturally, this is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

We ought to teach ACAMS a lesson. That's just a fancy way of saying that letting ACAMS prevent people from thinking and visualizing beyond an increasingly psychologically caged existence is a recipe for disaster, but that's a story for another time. For now, I want to focus on the way that if this letter did nothing else but serve as a beacon of truth, it would be worthy of reading by all right-thinking people. However, this letter's role is much greater than just to put the kibosh on ACAMS's dissertations. It may be coincidence that ACAMS's hatchet jobs replace law and order with anarchy and despotism. It may be coincidence that they do everything possible to keep blasphemous riffraff conceited and infantile. And it may be coincidence that they lionize obstinate ivory-tower academics. But that's a lot of coincidence!

Huh? that's not right...

Infact, I was Completely wrong.

I'm not THAT sure, but... it... it seems they never cared about the realistic rule at all.

Lemmie check, musta been a typo.

Gah, lack of pages on DSL!

I can safely assume the realistic rule was formed by the DSL players themselves, and not the mod makers...

Ohh! a flame mod!!!

lol that was a rant?

You really are a softie...

I remember a post somewhere (Click, I think. Only he makes such a large post.) about the official/unofficial guidelines to DSL. No stacking, no overlapping, and One small sentance about that you should think relistically, and a 120CM polycarbonate extender can't hold up a dual perm and a 200KG weapon.

I think it may have been archived, correct me if I'm wrong.

Polycarbonate can't hold that kind of weight. it's not really an OFFICIAL Realistic rule but it prevents a 600 KG weapon on a ploycarb extender, which is impossible, unless it is molded to take the strain.

let's face it, when a new bot is made, a bot is quickly made to kill that one, then it's refined to beat others. That's just how bot building evolution works.
