Well actually ACAMS, North America was once part of the British Empire. I hope you don't really believe that! Those brits came over here to claim America, and Paul Revere warned everybody the british were coming and the Americans whupped british ass so bad they decided not to claim anything over here!
First discovery of America: Your ancestors arrived from Europe. The only resistance was Native Americans. England owned part of America then, hence New England.

Being Scottish, this should be a fair and unbiased judgement. =P
Something I think is a stereotype, is they do tend to talk about the Second World War and 1966 quite a lot. If they're from around then. More stereotypes that I have heard. Young adults tend to get drunk over the weekend and end up on CCTV They get a Vauxhall Corsa for their first car and install a £6,000 stereo in the boot They go on holiday and are disgraced when people do not speak English.
One at a time please. @GF93: Hence, New England. @Scorp: What part of England? I'm from Oxfordshire, so not many chavs. The same can't be said for Bucks, though.

Full o' chavs.
Too true
While this can be considered true, the 'chavs' themselves are made fun of, even by us. They are not numerous, though, even considered a rarity amongst the population. Also, Scorp...check the rules at the beginning.

English people have a tendency to shove cheese up their noses.
Please, guys, no insulting. Let's try to keep it clean. And at the moment: - One stereotype at a time - The country stated ONLY.

So...England first. After a while, I shall choose another country.

I was wondering: 'what stereotypes are there about my culture?' And then I thought: 'do people actually believe them?'
Therefore, I declare this thread open. First of all, England. People not from this area post a stereotypical view that you have of here, and people from this country (including yours truly) shall address them, stating truth value and so on.
- STICK TO THE COUNTRY! A poll will be asdded to determine what country when it changes.
- NO INSULTING! We are posting stereotypes, not our own views.
-Those answering the stereotypes should be clarifying for the country, not themselves.
- This should be a DISCUSSION, NOT A Q + A. Give longer replies, with reason and thought, NOT YES AND NO.
- ONLY CLARIFY A STEREOTYPE IF FROM THE COUNTRY IN QUESTION. This one is common sense, really.

What is the bloody point in paying £100 more for something that doesn't do anything or look much, if any, better. Plus, please note: ...and Apple products[/no offense meant to those who have Apple products][/glow]. They are overpriced and don't do anything any better than other products.

They don't look any better, either. Damn Aluminium Monobloc. My Creative Zen X-Fi looks just as good as any iPod.
(look up Apple on Uncyclopedia)

Wasps are truly useless...just like nuns and traffic wardens.

Um...that sort of thing should be posted on the incredibots thread, and it's nothing new.

Is that because it's true? Or because it's not far off? Or not true at all?

I'd only just found the thread. Anyway, the Toshiba Libretto is a laptop where there is another screen where the keyboard should be. Both screens have multitouch, too!

Anywho, my most recent artwork was on Incredibots. It's in my Sig. if you want to see it. It's the Dodge Charger RT Mod.
