Try downgrading the extenders and use 2 angled shell panels instead of those sheets. And if you're feeling risky, you can attach your drive to the said panels as well.

I would say it's probably fine. Since your setup is asymmetric (and packs a Perm), it probably needs less time to self-right. Try testing it out yourself.

You can easily give it an anti-immobilizer and stronger armor by downgrading that Hypno to a wide ant (or a mini).
As for a practical Perm arrangement, that seems to be weight-efficient enough if you planned on having a halfsheet in the first place. :D
