DSL-S can also be pure efficiency, but we try to not break the game as much as in Stock to reach the best combat effectiveness possible.

ironforge has more exciting battles in general due to powerful motors and weapons and not too much HP.
DSL is stock plus, it's like stock except we build realistically or semirealistically. also there are more choice in components and bots look generally cooler.

something for kurt wylde's tournament  498 kg and such. Named Furia. i am aware it has lots of weapons for an IRL MW but it's an hybrid and i prefer it to be a proper wammer instead of a mw wammer with only 14kg of wammer... though i am willing to remove two spikes if needed (it will also look cooler tbh). or maybe i could give it "horns" a la Brass Bull and a small DS on a large beater. i think it'll look cooler, though i'm not sure Skin is underwhelming, I know. Any ideas for the skin ? I was going to theme it as black/yellow/red to follow the Emergency wedge colors, maybe with a bit of grey.

Rules have been clarified. A minor change of rules as well : people who have been warned for flaming/spamming don't get away with a written warning if they do it again, they immediately get warned.

I do. Every bot I've been posting since Ironforge came out has Ironforge+DSL3.0 components. They aren't meant to be used competitively but it sure is possible to do.

You don't. As redace said, they're not meant to be combined, else the wheels fail, there are a dozen copies of components, DSL2 components get mixed up with DSL3 stats and vice versa...

If you want you can import specific components from DSL2 to DSL3 or vice versa. That can be done and I think I did that with the multiextender...

i occasionally build something maybe once every other week, will maybe build stuff this week.
or occasionally i have a burst of motivation but it is usually alcohol
Also I haven't driven a bot into battle since forever. in the test garage for driving straight purposes maybe but even then, test garage is usually to save my design.
only interest I have in ra2 is building cool designs, occasionally, and rarely a tournament. and helping the newbies as usual. otherwise nope.

i don't really like the gold and purple flipper. It's too horny, and the gold/purple is a poor color choice.
definitely liked more your builds before.
