Sometimes I wonder if the blue control board is really worth using. If you can save 1 kg off of chassis size by using a mini, it should technically mean that a mini is more beneficial. Although I find myself using blue anyway because it is easier than trying to squeeze out that 1 kg off the chassis.
The blue CB IS better, because if you save 1kg off of chassis size for being able to put a mini on it, you lose a few chassis hitpoints. However, by using a blue CB over a mini, you gain 1kg without losing anything...maybe you would need a larger chassis when you use really tiny ones, but then you will gain chassis health. And that is one of the reasons i must update Gearhead.

^^ SO TRUE... but they are 3kg and do save 1kg over baseplate anchors.
Also check the different components in "extenders", especially the number of attachment points, and especially their hitpoints/weight ratio.
Everyone should do that anyways.

Use 2-3 battlepacks If he uses 3 battlepacks the batteries will be empty at the end of the match. Definitely 7 ants. And yeah - the rear of the bot shouldn't bear any weapon unless you are building a sit and spinner.

Invertible = able to run upside down.

Yeah its better - i think you can lighten your extender work however, and try to make the thing invertible. Really important.
Somewhat overpowered as well - 7 ant batteries would be good for that.
And try to get your bot symmetrical (left weapon extender work isn't), better for stability.

More weapons.
And your bot will take 90% of the damage at the front, not the rear, so you don't need 150kg of armor at the rear.
Always put your armor at the front unless you're doing a lot of rumbles.

Diamond isn't blue, also it's "substance", and it's nearly 2 times lighter as iron.

The plow's placement isn't appropriate and either use hypnos (more speed, same weight) or vlads (same speed, less weight).

A single sawblade... that's not even enough for a MW.
The thing doesn't looks invertible as well, and the rear KD plow is worthless.

Stop thrashing his thread guys, he doesn't deserves such a thing.
But it is true that stock English is appreciated, with correct spelling, grammar (*AHEM AT ME*) and punctuation *looks at rm2444 and dm543*.

You mean FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ?
For me, i am probably going to chain DDTs and try to come with something original and efficient.
Edit: And i agree with Viper's post 11 pages ago - medieval-themed names please.

I'll show you how it's done ! 10mm plastic, 6 ant batteries in total, NPC fasts. Built that in maybe 10 minutes. It's decent to my standards, nothing more. Also Rich for attaching the discs to the baseplate i used multi extenders. They're a pain to work with when you're new, but very good because very small and light, and they can get out of the chassis. @DK: Alll spinners work easily with the third of their theorical power needed, but when you have burst motors you don't want to UNDERpower your bot.

About the stock bindings : i really don't know why they abandoned Little Metal Friend's Other.py. Normally it should have acted like a real clamp (TDD does the same)

Don't make your weapons pass through batteries, motors or wheels as this won't work in real life.
Also with the free kg's you can add more weapon weight and front armor.

I sense this is going to be full of win...
I just hope people will be somewhat creative in building.
