Like I said, keep it IRL.
I used the parts I did to represent the natural strength of a single solid shell of metal. IRL shell wouldn't break apart into section in one hit. So my bot is MORE realistic.

Off-topic: Cropping fail there. Just move the weight/name under the bot picture to make a nice rectangle.
You don't tend to see thin plastic skirts sticking out of the tops of IRL SSs, try a round extender.
