If you have an internet connection. You have PSN, and who doesn't have internet? And everyone who buys MW3 will spend about 6 hours beating the campaign, then they'll dive right into multiplayer and probably never touch the campaign again, and that's ok. Call of Duty's main draw is the multiplayer, that's just the kind of game it is. For, other games, like Fallout 3 it's the story, or the fun of just kicking ass and doing whatever you want. This entire argument is pointless.

Okay, but what makes Online better than Split Screen, other than the availability of players? I simply can't see why online is such a big thing, considering all the lag and so on involved.
I would say because you always always lose screen and resolution per player (excepting FIFA etc.) Actually, Nate, you said:

For all the people that baww about online takes away the game, Play a sandbox game that always keeps you entertained.
Although, having said that; some people have the attention span of a rocking horse, so just can't be arsed.
