Tank treads = slow. Slow = FAIL especially in the claw top when bots don't face each other at the start. Thats the EXACT reason why I changed to HR-H.

These are the bots that never made it. Most of them are O.K., but I will show you. Meka I wanted some thing with tank treads, but it proved un-reliable. Was for ELBITE.  Small JX powers the EW. KOTH used a ax, DM used a E-Tek powerd Minion disk. Idikia Before Infi-Not and HR-H (at bottom of post) this was going to be my ELBITE entry, but I wanted some thing, different. I like it, but I just wanted some thing else.  KOTH uses two 30kig hammers, DM uses a E-Tek powered disk with teeth. DREAD ALL This was going to be a RAW entry, but then became my Robots Live, then was scraped all together. I might use it for GUMBA  Now a bot that did make it into ELBITE, sort-off a Enfilad3 clone, I at least tried to make it look like my own robot, so I slaped on a Tite sheet on a wedge, and here it is, HR-H.  And KOTH  TT looks almost the same as DM, but the razors removed. Yes, I know that the plastic extender is half way through the ESC. My answer to that is you can cut the plastic. Any Feed Back? EDIT: Forgot to mention, HR-H uses 3mm Alu.

Also, why is R1885 an Advanced Builder. Is he Vet-ish? Did he have important accompishments that I don't know of? Not any I know of, I was never on any of the old forms, I did lurk there however.

You might want to do a virus scan on your computer, even one can wreck all  on you computer. I learned that the hard way when one formated one of my hard drives.

What is an "Advanced User" anyways? And why is R1885 one but Jules and Naryar aren't?
I was wondering the same thing, why am I am an advanced user, and Jules is not, considering that hes bean here way longer than I have. (And more building skill)

Yes, folks, I will be attempting to transcend virtual robot fighting and build a real fighting machine: a middleweight shell spinner named Flogging Maulie. I'm currently trying to get a team together in my school.
I talked to General Morgan, and he said he had some spare motors (including, I think, an E-tek), so I've got a weapon motor down.
Question for the real builders: What's the best way to keep a spinner from obliterating itself on a hit? Call these guys.It might be expenseive as , but there one of the best, plus, they make high in-pact gearboxes. Also, they make full shell, so you can ask them for a shell to go with that smoking new gearbox.

I have worked hard on this bot, so you should enjoy it, it most likely my most disructive bot in months, presenting- (Please mind the crapy 1337 speek) XLR8 83ST  And guts!  This bot is most likely my best bot in DSL. It throws other bots like light weights! It also has what I call the death grip, you see, the spiners of that type, in four out of five bots, spin so that bots in the spikes go up, but my bot's spikes spin downward. As a result, it traps other bots in two of the spikes, doing constant damage, and points. Uses 1mm tite, and NPC fasts. And here it is in battle. SheBeast  Smashbox2  CE  Shogun(The bot shown is the prototype)  And what hapens when you get in the death grip.  And Tricolps Vr.2  Do you like it?

Did you install DSL corectly? Did you use the Download only Vr. for DSL? Did you saved to an empty folder on the desktop, move the contents of the folder on to the desktop by hand, and did you moved the contents into the game folder? Also, 1.3 does NOT work with the downloaded game.
