JD: Bleh... The rammer does look decent enough (still not invertible = fail) but the other one's weapons are either too weak or way too fragile. They all have a wedge though, and it could help.
Don't ever lose your amazingly frank french honesty. It makes us all better builders. I agree with your assessment of my bots. Hell, the more I test them the more I wish I had taken invertability seriously when I built them. Live and learn eh? The funny thing about some of these tourneys that take a while to get up and running... we all learn so much over the 2-3 months that passes. Some of us look at our bots and facepalm because we know better, now. haha!

I run into that sometimes too... I will check the armour selection area and find that a type is highlighted different from the one I last selected. However when I check the weight difference, it usually turns out that my original selection is still the same. Not sure if it is a glitch or something.

Pinewood Derby is a blast. A friend of mine was telling me the other day that a good trick to getting more speed out of the car is to coat the axles with graphite so that there is less fricton on the wheels. I think I built those for about 3 years. Totally sucked at it... my cars were too fat and heavy.
Also did Co2 Racers one year... that was a blast. Would love to try that again sometime.

I really don't like how it looks too easy for a bot to fall to the side after getting ripped up on the weapon.
My suggestion would be to downgrade the armour to save some weight. Put a multi extender on the right side of the chassis, attach a poly extender with a Panic Attack skirt pointed up or at an angle. Set the weapon to spin CCW so that bots will be deflected mainly to the right. Sure, it wont look symetrical and tidy... but I think it will hold bots on your weapon for longer.
But if you are happy with it as-is... there is no stopping you from keeping it the same.

Actually. Putting aloe juice on it will help tame the burn. It is generally a good idea to have an aloe plant somewhere in your house for burns. They are easy to take care of. Just water it when the soil looks dry. If you get a burn just cut off a piece of the plant and let the juice run out of the part you cut off. Aloe plants heal very easily, so cutting off parts does not kill it whatsoever. You can even cut off a piece of the plant and stick it in another pot of soil. With time, that piece will begin to grow its own roots. ^ ^

If you forgot to vote... and were going to vote for yourself. You missed the bus man. But if you want to enter the next one, I will team up with you and take care of the candy if you build the bot. :D Edit: actually your candy isn't all that bad. I can do the skin if you want?

But theres always people who will just join any tourney. It could be the worst tourney ever designed and people still just say "I'll Join!"
Then that becomes their own gamble for joining the tournament. I think, ultimately, we are trying to get new hosts to prove themselves worthy in a more solid way before we all waste our time. "4 Bot Test" recorded, cut, posted and displayed would give most people a general idea of whether they want to enter a tournament or not. If they post it, and the AI stinks... or the editing is poor, or they play Miley Cyrus for background music, whatever... you have some grounds to decide if you want to participate. Rather than just taking the new host's word for it.

Dear God it is going to be unstable... Part of me is glad that I am facing this bot first... the other part of me fears the unpredictable-ness of flailing, out of control, vertical spinners. With my fat (tee hee) chassis, there is a very good chance that Badnik's bot could pull off a chaotic win.

Dual chained Vertical Spinner balancing on one wedge? I have a gut feeling it is going to get manhandled quite a bit.

Solid looking bot... Why the exposed face though? With that fast drive it may approach opponents a bit too fast and cause more harm to itself than necessary. A ramplate would have made this solid bot a contender in my opinion.
