Oh, thanks, i'll give those ideas a shot. It didn't hit me that the points would affect weight, thanks! :)

I enjoy making small versions of larger bots, so I made a mini Havok Gemini. Those multi-extenders start above the ants, not in them btw. Helpful criticism is welcome...

Yippee, RA2 DSL TC AI (mouthful!) is working! EDIT: I have built a new Havok bot, or should I say Bots. If one wasn't good enough for you then these TWO with a vertical flywheel between them should satisfy you. These two fused Havoks have TWO Large JX motors (i think it is JX) each motor has 4 Battlepack batteries 2 NPCFs Perm 80L with a DSL small (spacer) and DSL Small2 disk attached, with four small beater bars Armour is Ti 5 Flipping arms are Titanium with steel panels on the ends. Its a beast, best Havok yet IMO. Sheck it out for yourselves, helpful feedback is welcome. (I know I should've used ants, but the battle packs were easier to make symmetrical)

Just tried that and the game doesn't start. Here's what I am going to do, save all robot designs and DELETE RA2 DSL and re-install

Any way of fixing it?

The entire AI folder, yup

Just the AI part of DSL 2.1, over-riding the NAR AI. Simple copy and over-writing of the AI folders

HW, based on Eye-stabber and Spawn of Scutter
Also, off topic I know... My AI is all weird, I had NAR AI for a while and wanted to use the DSL AI for a change. I downloaded a new DSL and only copied out the AI, and now I have NAR AI bots just going strait into walls and attacking the walls?? So, yeah, can I fix that??

Yeah, the controls reversing upon inverting were annoying. I experimented with two sets of controls, one to use when inverted = Failed So I copied Pussycat!

New bot: No batteries as of yet because everyone's been saying that I have been overpowering my bots, so for a rough idea, how many ants or batteries would I need in this poker?

It isn't as high as it looks due to the resolution changes. It is as low as the bar would go! Limbo!

Noob Warz?
Well, your right there, I am a newbie.
And the Havok line of robot sucks due to lack of damaging weapons. But I am making changes to the design 'till i get something that can beat a NAR AI bot. All these can easily beat DSL AI apart from Grog, who still can get beaten by hitting him very hard in opposite direction to rotation, knocking off a hammer and doing the Mauler dance 'till it flips itself!

About the AW thing, I have edited Havok MinII to have less batteries but still flip the car 360 but weighs 174.2kg, so just a beetleweight! Might add batteries again and make a lightweight. Also, I cant flip any more heavyweights OOTA, it seems to be a fluke, shud've got a pic! EDIT: I have made a Havok Ant! Pics

Vertigo: It is the third burst motor in the list, under the two MSG-200s. Ianh05: 1 battery more = Havok physics engine flipper malfunction, the bot jumps too mush 1 battery less, and it doesn't even lift the car. One of those balanced situations.
Also, what are the weight restrictions for AW and BW? I think can make that into a AW flipper and a BW popup (is that where stuff comes up underneath a bot fire-storm style?).
Edit: Just flipped HW Second Sentinel OOTA on DSL Tournament arena! Just a test!

Sorry for double post. The horizontal saw was a fail on many levels, so I cut it completely from the design. I tried using the MSG-200 for the flipper in a slightly larger chassis design, and it couldn't lift the wheel in the test area (the flywheel that belonged to some American robot, forget who). With the Mag motor, it made the wheel hit the ceiling and flipped the car 360 o back on to its wheels. Sadly the srimech makes the bot fly wildly around the arena, too powerful! Pics This is all screenshots in one, because I felt like it! Interior EDIT: As far as I can tell nothing passes through anything, but not at the weight limit for I could add nothing else.

Thanks for all the help guys! But the Mini Havok has the saw at the rear because it is undefended, I didn't notice it passed through. I am in the process of making a Mini Havok II. Same chassis, Al 3 armour, still a Mag-snapper (only one that fits in the chassis) but the saw now horizontal at the rear and passes through nothing.

Armour is all steel 5 or 10 for Havok 4 These flippers are actually quite powerful, it can throw many robots out of the Robot Wars arena and DSL TC championship arena. So, you want a smaller one eh? Here goes!

Suits, doesn't it? Anyway... I just built another Havok... Havok 4 This one is lower, invertible, not so many batteries and has the circular saw that was meant to be on Havok 3.

I usually get to the space filling stage when finished, changing the chassis deletes everything, right? Also, just noticed that my pics squash so the bots aren't as short as they appear.
