In order to contribute and not just slow this down, i'm working on resizing the .bmp and .tga files in the Components folder to cut down sizes there.

Thanks DSC. Send them over when you're done.

Anyway, Important update; I'm planning to have this, which is the entire RA2 experience but on a smaller scale, and RA2 Core, where EVERYTHING that is not needed is removed. The only arenas are the Low Lag Arena, Lumazone and ClawTop (Or low lag varieties), and all texture would be removed.
So no other arenas, I was just getting interested :vista:

It's ok RPJK, I've decided against it.

So, everyone's cool with me removing Bridge Of Doom, Hill Top and Compressor?

He saw his dinner on the TV.

And the worst part is, from 0:50 onward it's actually not that bad of a song.

So there you go.
Now why couldn't you be that good at Cat Mario? D:

But in all seriousness, you had 12 seconds left over.
So it does give you a little room for error, but is still legit.
Keep it as-is then.
Despite the fact I think you were invincible

You wanna know why?

I used hundreds and hundreds of savestates.

Chainsaw's already been done, but I like the idea of the ARC Arena and the Decoratives. You do know you can add your own tracks in the Music folder, right?

@Video: Those earlier stages can be abused to no end because of the Bullet Bills, btw...

Also, a stage in which you are forced to die in order to get more time is kinda' cheap TBH :/

Still... The whole thing reminds me of your Cat Mario Play-though

You aren't forced to die, It's just that I didn't get past the fire sticks in time. I could've done the level with about 3 seconds to spare if I did :P

And about the bullet bills, how?

BTW, in the original SMB, you got either 300, 400 or 800 seconds of time.

In this, you get 100, 200 or 400.

So even the TIME'S against you.
After you died, you got through that water stage perfectly and you only had about 8 seconds left.
....At least increase the time by another 30 seconds.

I can only do it by 100 second chunks.

Look, if you don't believe I can do it without it, I'll make a video shortly.

I may also assume that in order to save you yourself some time that you edit this in your self-written level editor?  ;)

I can't write my own editor, and SMB Utility is good enough.

Actually, I've decided; I'm not going to remove or add any more arenas than I already have done. You see, it's a case of like-dislike here; The arenas I removed were ones that EVERYBODY disliked and the ones I added were ones EVERYBODY liked. All the others might not be the best of arenas, but they contribute to the RA2 experience.

In short, if you don't like it, remove it yourself.

Poll added on the first page anyway.

Oh, and BTW, we've reached the halfway mark; the game is now smaller than 100MB.

When I was making mine I dropped all the arena's except..

Combat Zone
Lumazone (for the purpose of KOTH ability)
Claw Top (for the purpose of Tabletop ability)

And added in all the Low Lag arena's

Link me to all these 'low-lag' arenas, if you please.

Also, @Click HOW BLOODY BIG DID YOU NEED TO MAKE THE SKINS FOR THE BBEANS ARENA!?

It helps if you have a USB controller at hand...

Yeah, well I didn't. So it sucked.

I'm yet to do the second world, god have mercy on my soul ._.
