because Edge Wylde
You mean 'Let's be an ass to Kurt for no reason.', right?
>this angry over a comic
I haven't got any issues with the comic. I don't see the point in the Edge Wylde BS though.

hey man a vertical trapper works better than a crusher don't hate  :dumb)

The problem is, it's essentially a crusher on steroids. I'd say it falls under the too specific rule and ask you to change it.
how the hell is a crusher? they work totally differently and use different parts???

Ok guys signups are open you can ent- oh.

1) Seriously screw you 090901.
2) What's the difference between a clamp and a crusher in this sense Mr. AS?
Clamp bots are like Complete Control
Crusher's are like razer and either use a servo to "crush" the other bot or use a burst motor that fires and lifts up the claw/sickle/whatever they are using for a crushing device and then they other bot goes under it as a the arm retracts.

I would like to enter with a Vertical Trapper (aka a Tentoumushi style bot)
Examples of what I mean:

For example: Sony Vegas won't let me use AVI files which is just far past stupid and enrages me.

General Support / Re: Windows 10 Crashing RA2
« on: August 21, 2015, 04:18:02 PM »
q1. are you running it in full screen or windowed
q2. where are your ra2 files located? for some reason in later windows copies ra2 seems to like to crash when it's in program files

btw if you go into the bot lab with an empty chassis slot and don't make a chassis at all and then go back to the team hq the game is basically guaranteed to crash

Oh. Then just ban bots without controlled movement, simple as that.

and that includes VS that spikeball gayly all around the arena cuz people can't build stable VS.

Alright, gonna review your rules nao.

They seem good. You will probably need a display of what bot types have already 3 entries and are therefore unavailable in signups, though.

edit: maybe put stronger rules on the "all bots must show controlled movement" rule. If a VS starts by spikeballing, something's obviously wrong
It's an OOTA arena though, so I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Does any one know what the maximum amount  of robots you can have on a arena or has that information not been shared Oh and also was there a facebook page to this somewhere?
RA2 is coded to where you can only have 4 bots on the arena at the same time.

whats up with the tribar in the back? seems pretty pointless when you could just use light extenders or skirts for stabilizers which would let you get mini wheels most likely.
