I'm unsure about the wedges. I try all different types of wedges other than the standard ones, but most of them suck. The piston is basically to give it a little extra push.

Edit: The wedges are another Mako wedge incarnation. Polycarbonate skirt => 90 degree axles => Titanium angled skirts all mounted on the center AP of a skirt hinge.
