One of the things that bothered me about Pokemon Gold were the guards blocking the staris at Sliph Co. and the Lavender Town Radio Tower. I was young and I was a completionist, I didn't understand that there was nothing behind the stairs because the programmers didn't program anything to be there. I tried everything to get those guards to move (short of asking on a forum, I wasn't that sensible), including having an Ursaring equipped with a piece of mail that said "GO AWAY GUARDS I NEED TO GET THROUGH"

I flagged someone's Youtube vid as "abuse of fire/explosives" because they were being a douche. The funny part is, they probably will lose their video because they used a lot of footage from a TV show.

The following is a joke that you wont get unless you watch Breaking Bad:

Kentucky FTW
First time getting the champion right. It's kind of a bittersweet victory because that was the only Final Four I got right. Credit to MNB though, you were spot on about the mascots thing; the final match was a wildcat versus a bird.

Did you have the same problem with the pokemon review?
Not so much, that one was back when he still used logic and reason predominantly. He at least made an effort to try and learn the basics, and he was right about the moral (fighting is wrong) being complete bullsh** in the context of Pokemon.

*Checks that thread is in Junkyard*
**** YEAH, SPARKLE SPARKLE SPARKLE
I freaking loved that review.
It was OK I guess, but as Sonny said, he could've done more research into the source material first.
Did you see his f***ups video?
Not satisfied. He didn't actually admit to being wrong, he tried to justify it as "the joke was that I come across as ill-informed." Nice try, but if I had found it funny, I wouldn't have criticized him in the first place. And besides, he's the Nostlgia Critic, with a name like that how unreasonable is it to expect him to actually know the material he's talking about? I gave up the show almost two decades ago, and yet still had no trouble remembering the huge ensemble cast. That was another problem, he grossly underestimated a child's ability to remember character names. But the crowner was his suggestion that the trains' faces should be CGI animated. I mean, that's beyond a complete lack of research to say something like that would make the show better. If you can find me a Thomas fan who doesn't think the show was ruined forever after they started CGI animating the faces, I will post a video of myself eating all 27 of my Robot Wars replicas.

Supernova. As many of you figured out, it was my latest cardboard replica. I guess ut wasn't good enough to fool you into thinking it was the real thing, but I still like how it turned out. There's a layer of glitter on there that you can't see because of the camera flash, but it looks real cool.

You'll believe this, but not that I bought a retired combat robot?

Waiting for a price drop, or the 3DSi, or some games that I actually want to play

The front lip was just a sharp-edge guard, not actually used in combat. It is close to as fast as the real one, it's impossible to put car steering on something that small, but it's still more than fast enough to flip itself when it crashes.

Demolisher. It took a while to get this shape right. It flips over rather easily.

Watching Mad Men. Every time they mention an amount of money I shout out "but that's like a million dollars in today's money!" It's probably why I'm watching it alone.

Lol no it's not an antweight, I just shrunk the picture for your convenience. Here's another photo I took but didn't bother shrinking, to give you a sense of the real thing:

You flatter me. I know what you're implying but I have no idea how one would get that kind of finish on the blue parts.

Got some exciting news. I've been holding out on talking about this because I didn't want to jinx it, but now it's finally here! A while back Suren Balendran, captain of Supernova, was looking to sell his bot. Apparently it's been inactive for years now because there aren't any more arenas that will allow huge spinners like that. I got to thinking, what would really make me happy for my birthday. And then I got to thinking some more - I've never actually seen a heavyweight robot in real life. His price was very reasonable, compared to the cost of the antweight. I'm sorry for not telling any of you about this, but I didn't want to bid a fortune to win. So anyways, it arrived yesterday (DHL took quite a while), and I've been keeping Supernova in the garage. I'm working on restoring, not sure if I'll enter any competitions, she's such a pretty little thing, I don't know if I can bear to have it even scratched up. It looks pretty good considering that it got knocked around by Storm 2 in its final fight. So yeah I'll take good care of it, it'll be more of a collector's item than an actual fighter but I'd definitely love to at least get it up and running again. EDIT: Photo for naysayers. We don't have any outside Robt Wars photos for Supernova; I didn't get this from Google Images so don't bother asking. Tell me some specific photo to take if you don't believe me. For now, here's this:

Has anyone else built a bot that could get stuck under the Shrederator shell in the test garage? This happens every time I test Mad Cow Bot. The controls go all weird when he's under the shell, he goes careening in a random direction

Interesting concept you've got there. I oft contemplate about what children's show would have been the bronies' show if MLP didn't exist; DragonTales was one. There's no social structure or currency, plenty to talk about there. And there are several dozen world-ending devices whose only protection is the dragons' ignorance/moral code.
If I had my druthers, the "it" show would be Cyerchase, I mean come on, how can something with Gilbert Gottfried doing a voice get so little acclaim?
