Are there any set ground rules for getting banned? Like Forum ground rules and whatnot?
IMO There should be some rules about what is allowed and what is not. There are too many people to leave it to interpretation. With rules to follow, and consequences when broken, this forum may become better behaved...

Yes, there is a warning system in place. I think it is somehow buried into the "what this forum needs" thread.
The warning system DOES work, but there must be SOLID reason to issue a warning....Those reasons are as follows:
Foul Language or pictures posted
in the main forum. (and a PM warning should do the trick)
Continuous needling, or harassment of members
in the main forum, especially the Showcase. (and a PM warning should do the trick)
There are other reasons, but those are the most important.
Anything but illegal content is allowed in Playground, and Chatterbox is moderated and restricted to proper behaviour, flame wars is in my opinion a proper behaviour and like sh**, it WILL happen, so a
PM WARNING is sufficient the first few times.
