It looks okay to me. I'd drop down to Mini Wheels and 3mm Titanium armour, though. And swap the DSL Bars for something else, they're too heavy to be used as wedge extenders, I think. Perhaps swap the Bar + Wedge for an 80cm skirt, depending on how wedgy it is afterwards. Following that, you should have enough weight for an extra couple of razors on there. The NPCF's will be fine, Anything other than NPC Normals (NOT Left or Right) only has 400HP, so dropping to Normals won't be worth it, I think.

whats a girl
It's a strange variation of man that has something called tits and lacks a cock
So the rumors of them having vaginas are false then?
You try pulling off your cock and see how much of a hole is created
But the testicles remain somehow.

So, this morning, I found out that one of my idols now has another of my idols as their girlfriend
I'd been shipping them for three years straight
Back in high school, my friend John got shipped a lot with some lanky ginger guy called Joe. In fairness, they were excessively camp around each other.

Originality means EVERYTHING. When bots start to all look the same, are all built the same, you have a very, very boring game/forum. If you actually read what I said you will see that the objective is to build a robot around each weapon, whether the weapon is good or bad. I'm not interested in making spam-bots, something that might fight well but looks like a mechano set sticking out a shoebox, only something that I might see in the real world. If you want to start criticising, and I have no problem with people expressing their opinions (though people who think everything they type is gold-dust get on my nerves), you might at least read what I said so you can see the objectives behind them. You need an attitude adjustment. I'm also starting to see why only about 7 people regularly come to this forum. How often does this place get a new member who stays more than a couple of months?
I agree with this. The reason IRL building is so popular at the moment is because a) There were quite a few tournaments recently, and b) standard DSL building has almost peaked, in my view. We've explored almost every single aspect of the game, the few killer designs that there are have emerged, and the people enter those few killer designs into tournaments with the intention of winning win. Efficiency is useful in the game, granted, but the purpose of a game is to have fun. The purpose of the forum is to have fun. If you have fun by building efficiently, then do so. If you have fun by building realistic designs, then do so. We shouldn't all have to conform to the same idea of fun, he can build whatever he likes. I think building it at a 45 degree angle is a bad idea, because you can only mount components directly onto, or above the baseplate. If you have a small baseplate and a long 45 degree chassis, you'll hardly be able to attach anything. If you need some more ideas for IRL bots, then I would suggest looking through Thyrus, dragonsteincole, Scrap Daddy and SKBT's showcases for some good IRL designs. Each of them have a pretty different style, and you might be able to pick up one that you like. You could take a look through my showcase as well if you like.

My vote went for Cassius, personally. I didn't really like the Series 2 incarnation of Panic Attack that much, it was a lot better to me once it got the bespoque lifting forks and the more angled body. It looked like a serious robot from the third wars onwards, rather than simply a hastily pieced together box. Cassius ws better to watch than either of the other two, in my opinion.

Well, most of the Nightmare-esque spinners you see people making, at least in IRL style, do start out with a horizontal chassis. The trouble is that the chassis tends to start off nearer the floor, so if you have something extender beneath it too far, that will start inside the floor. To get around this, you can either shorten the extenders, or raise the starting position, which is both extremely complicated, and works against conventionally designed bots, because they have a big drop at the start.

You've become awful peaceful Madman...
Ahaha no, don't take this as being peaceful. He just likes logical discussions more than chaotic flame wars. He still does rip someone a new one sometimes.
You can be cold, calm, lucid , moderate in your expressions and very violent at the same time.
Of course when he says he's evil, he's only fooling himself.
And he is certainly not a true man like us.
Who madman or me? Where exactly am I on your made up man scale, out of interest?
Madman And you are neutral, a normal man, not a true heroic man.
Says a man who dresses from head to toe in leather.

It depends on the length. For some reason, all the skirts of the same material have the same HP. So a 40cm Titanium skirt has a much better HP/weight ratio than a 120cm Angled Titanium skirt. An 80cm Titanium skirt is what I'd go for, it's the best compromise between stability, weight and strength.

I like it. Depends on how damaging it is, really. I'd personally stick with Normals, if you go too quickly, you'll kick yourself over on a big hit. I'd also swap the DSL bars for 80cm or 120cm skirts if that was possible, then perhaps upgrade the armour with the weight saved.

Why the srimech? You could simply add some larger wheels (Micro wheels SUCK, do avoid them as much as you can. I'd go for Minis if you need weight), and put some Robot X casters on the top or something to make the bot invertible. I did try a setup like this with a Middeweight version of The Highlander, it was surprisingly damaging, but quite laggy. Must be all the transparent bits on the sawblades.

It looks pretty good to me. You could shrink up the chassis a little more and get the Blackvolt closer to the front. I'd also put the razors by the wheels up to the front to help with damaging. It's not very likely that the opponents are going to get to your wheels. With the weight saved by chassis tightening and removing whatever's holding the rear irons on, you could swap the razors for irons as well.

Very nice work indeed. Informative and humourous. And not the Battlebots humourous that you alluded to in that.

I have. For four and a half years. Longer than most people where I am seem to stick together.
And I've got no idea, personally. I think it's some way for people to find something to feel superior about. Either that or everyone's a pervert. Either or.

Wow, that was quick. Naryar's sorting everything out now, though. I did my best to calm things down, but it didn't work terribly well. Eventually things calmed down, and now Mutes/Warns are being handed out. So yeah, that happened.

Maybe you can attatch the disc staticly on an ME and then axle load then axle load the DSL bar on so you can avoid the rule of 7.
That is a nice idea. It worked well for me with Frequency.

Everybody shut the <expletive> up, alright? This isn't going anywhere, and nothing is getting resolved. Jonzu's sorted his profile out, but the rest of them were still taking pot shots at him, and Jonzu was still returning fire. I'd Warn you all if I could. Edit: Yes, let's change the subject. I've heard it's quite a funny game, but running about shooting stuff isn't really for me.

Stop fighting, for crying out loud. Jonzu, switch your Av and PT back to how they were, and everyone else shut up about it. I'm gonna get something to drink now.

I am back...
YES, I AM INVINCIBLE
Until England loses a sporting event.
Well, we beat you at least
You appear to be confusing me with someone who gives a crap. =D And I thought it was all going a bit far, personally. Jonzu appeared to have stopped, and it still carried on.
how many times has he 'left'
he hasnt stopped, his avatar and stuff are all the same and is trying to act tough like he usually does after being retarded :P
He'd stopped that particular incident, though. And if the attacking and stuff stopped, then he wouldn't have any reason to leave, or act like a supposed tough guy. I'm trying to give him advice on how to improve his behaviour, and whether it works or not, people continuously poking fun at him to try and get a reaction isn't going to help.
