I guess everyone liked silent spring so i pulled come concept art out my ass... thoughts?

Personally I like it, how it's not too heavy but can still be cool. Supposed to be like a spring where all the sound is gone, such as like the birds aren't singing or something, i dunno. It's hard to come up with a band name that isn't taken, but this is pretty sweet. The other option was Murder Game, but i felt that was too emo. Please tell me your thoughts, i want criticisms or comments!

I was wondering what team you were on. I'm on the Metal Moose.

As a side note please tell me your team is powering all 6 wheels and not just using the outside four as casters.

Do you have a good minbot design? My team is out of ideas.

Nope, outside 4 are castors. The middle wheel is slightly below the level of the other two, meaning the robot will always be on four wheels out of six. This added stability counteracts the high center of gravity from our robotic arm.

As for the mini-bot, our design works pretty well. It has two motors on a V shape, one on each end, with big wheels facing inwards. When the pole is pushed between the two wheels, it pushes our locking mechanism (made of surgical tubing and held in place by hollow metal cylinders) and snaps the V shape shut around the pole. The two wheels carry it up the pole.

More like problem solving, effective extender use (well not really extenders but just the setup itself) and other such things.

i didnt mean overclocking.... i was referring to all the people that underclock it e.g. 1 supervolt for 8 hp zteks ??? thats not nearly enough power
actually, each ztek draws 100 amps, the blackvolt puts out 800 amps. It is clearly enough power. However, bots like the one you just described (HS) need to last in a HS v HS fight, which can drag on, and they usually use two blacks.

Nice! Just so you know, Neglected Waterbug has the best wedges in Starcore 3, so don't feel bad if you can't get under it. Also, you don't need the pinks. Awesome look though

And I thought you were improving...

1. Use 1 black, more power and less kg's.
2. Use a different weapon, Ice Picks have normals.
3. Tell us what the armour is
4. Get a wedge
5. Get more weapons on that hammer
6. Get Starcore, and watch how quickly that gets ripped apart.

just.. no.

get restocked

actually, technically you only need 1 black for that bot. Get rid of some batteries (i would reccomend 2 blacks though) and more motors with more weapons.

With some sage advice, your building style will improve.

Thanks for the introduction!

It's not my place to give general tips (I'm better consulted for tweaking more advanced robots), so perhaps some of the other guys can enlighten you on extender use, wedges, empty space, battery usage, and unnecessary rear armor.

Trying too hard makes you sound like losers.

Why not just shorten the name to Abandon?
already a lot of bands named that

is mercury's vain "trying too hard"?

it's an idea that makes no sense until we see what you are talking about, so you should get on those sketches asap
