Maybe the flipping wedge is too flat and not angled ? I know Guard Duty works just fine with a single beta.
Make it 2WD also really... you're building a MW clamp you're already very tight on weight.

what it needs is more reach and more armor.
it's not like double-edged axes are more something out of fantasy, and out of minotaurs... why add another blade to an axe, seriously ? to make it heavier and so it has less KE relative to user's strength and it penetrates armor less ?

also the incentive for last tournament's winner is very weak. 0.1-0.2 kg bonus only ?
allow him to have more than three bots maybe ? like four bots, and he chooses three of the four in each round, but the fourth bot is eliminated if it loses a battle, and he's back to three bots for the rest of the tourney ? so the fourth bot is kinda an ace in the hole, and it gives him a small advantage, but it can be easily removed.
