Got a rough estimate on individual pieces? Cause jeez that's just, wow.
Individual pieces? Wow I couldn't even begin to guess, it's 6580.0 in-game weight which is over 3 times heavier than the second heaviest thing I've built in this game. I probably should have left the inside hollow in retrospect...

Took the design from memory of a playing card I found as a kid, never knew what game it was supposed to be from though.
(Image removed from quote.) They don't call me Poketom for nothing
Omg that's it, that's the card! I haven't seen it in years! Lol

Haha thank you for all the kind comments guys! To tell you the truth Nightmare has been... well a complete Nightmare to get working properly. Because of the build size limit I could only build the disc on the half side that was facing the rear of the bot, which meant spinning the disc when ever I needed to build around the other half. And then of course it kept melting on me as soon as I went to save it (effectively ruining everything I'd worked on and putting me back to square one). - I've been using Lockjaw to take out my frustrations. Hopefully I'll be able to finally finish Nightmare soon... I found this site back when a guy (I think he was called Wham) was making a Robot Wars Mod
Obviously (me being the dumbass I am), you mean WhamettNuht, right? He was known to be the starter of the RW Mod. However, he has been inactive for a year and more than a month (which obviously means you've been lurking for a long, LONG while).
Yeah that's the guy! I think it must have been a few years ago now.

You ever build something and then instantly wonder why on earth you actually built it? Yeah me too... - Took the design from memory of a playing card I found as a kid, never knew what game it was supposed to be from though.

How long have you been lurking?
I found this site back when a guy (I think he was called Wham) was making a Robot Wars Mod, so a good while. I haven't had any time to play RA2 in years but checked back here every now and then. Time off work and Component Freedom have gotten me back into it! holly hell. it looks amazing! :o It's sad that is started to melt though
It's a sensitive subject! Nightmare is definitely on the back burner for a while lol.

Oh boy... how long does cpt shredderator take to load into the game?
They all look damn nice as always
Edit: Looking forward to Nightmare Bombshell and Hypershock if you goona make them of course.
Shrederator isn't too bad load time-wise, or at least I've never noticed it take longer than usual. It's funny you should mention Nightmare, bit of tragic story here; - This was Nightmare MK4, which after a few arguments with the "Cannot Exceed Maximum Bot Size" message, was soon to be final version of my attempt at getting this thing built. I even left part of the base chassis exposed so I could skin the logo on... - This is Nightmare MK4 after the "Cannot Exceed Maximum Bot Size" message and the Rule Of 7 police took their revenge while I was distracted taking screenshots.

 - Beta, Black Ice & Captain 'Murica! Shrederator Beta is currently the lightest replicas I've made so far at 1286.6 in-game weight and the only custom parts I've used are for the drive motors so it might be fairly easy to convert him into DSL 2.2, which means I could very well be able to throw him onto the bot exchange in the near future!

I'm really impressed by the look of witch docs weapon. Did you put multiple drumd on one motor to get that houtcome?
Yeah pretty much, a smaller drum with a larger one attached over the top of it, then used the attach point of the larger drum to make the tooth and covered the small drum in extenders to hide the big drum!

Awesome work tgm, wow arcane those replicas are awesome how well do they perform compared to the irl robots?
Thanks man! Great question, to go through all of them? hmm well; Radioactive - The weapon is actually capable of doing damage so arguably it's better than IRL but chunks of the drive pods disintegrate into dust if a spinner so happens to even look at them. Tentomushi - The shell sometimes doesn't retract when it's down which turns into a weaponless bot but the smothering works great, it would make a great house robot for lightweight fights. Chomp - It doesn't flop around as much as the real version and of course flamethrowers are a little bit OP in RA2. But otherwise is really spot on, the self righting in particular! Brutus - The spinner vastly underpeforms atm and no projectiles. Invader - Very difficult to control, it spends a lot of time ricochet-ing off the walls (just like the real version). Lockjaw - Surprisingly one of the most effective bots, can score OOTA's too. Tombstone - Not quite as dominating as the real thing but still a powerful spinner. Icewave - Great when it works, it has a slight problem in that if it hits something that doesn't immediately break off then it spins onto its back (similar to its fight with Ghost Raptor irl). Cobalt - The spinner is well balanced so it's pretty much a smaller Tombstone. Splatter - The lifter acts more like a flipper and because of that the spinner barely ever touches an opponent. Disk O'Inferno - Doesn't turn very well but otherwise great. The spinner needs buffing a bit though. Sabretooth Cat Ghost Raptor - The spinner end breaks fairly easily if it hits another weapon. Like the real version, the lifter is the better weapon. Witch Doctor - Pretty realistic, sends the horizontal spinners flying on contact although the armour is a little bit thin and it can't really self right. Shaman - The gutsy minibot it was born to be! Of course they will struggle against most well built DSL bots of the same weight class, I haven't tried them against HereticBlue's Robot Wars Mod bots yet.

Nice Fluffy TGM! The bar looks like it could be a bit longer but other than that it's perfect! Just a small update, I thought I'd have a crack at this duo. - Witch Doctor & Shaman (Season 1 App) As with all my other replicas the chassis is entirely extender work. I'm not all that skilled at component skinning as of yet, so I had to improvise and make Shaman's eyes out of cleverly colliding extender pieces... which was a pain to say the least! Also getting a Single Tooth Drum to work properly in RA2... Never again!

Arcane do you have in mind to release them in a pack ?
Are you going to put them on the exchange?
I hadn't planned to, mainly just because they each weigh between 1800-2500 in game weight (all that extender work adds up) I've been using custom motors to power them which would be a nightmare to put together for download. There's also a slight problem in that battling these things often causes the game to crash. Maybe in the future I could put something together but for now I'm enjoying the building side of things, we'll see!

My tackle at Carbide (Image removed from quote.) And, yes. The left one is upside-down.
Wow, awesome job on that Carbide! Also what a coincidence I've been working on Carbide's younger screw up brother Cobalt... They could be twins! I like how you managed to keep the back part tidy, I struggled with Cobalt's wedge a bit! - Cobalt Also, excuse the bot dump but I'm having way too much fun making these things so I made a bunch more... - Splatter - Disk O'Inferno - Sabretooth Cat - Disk O, Ghost Raptor, Splatter & Cobalt That makes 12 of the Reboot bots... I hope you're all still liking my work so far! And if that changes please let me know <3

I love the design of that flipper bot!

by pure apperiance they are top notch as your other bots. what's wront with Icewave? is it the weaponmotor?
Well thank you sir! I'm not sure if it's solely the weapon motor or a problem with the weight of these replicas but Icewave spends more time upside down than Chomp... I am aware that Icewave's bar is slightly forward towards to wedge than straight in the centre of the bot, but the bar doesn't look right. You got the bar colours right, but one end of the bar looks way shorter than the other end, not only knowing how the bot could become unbalanced very quickly to the lack of balance between both ends of the bar, but both ends of Icewave's bar are both at the same length. Apart from that little mistake, both bots look pretty good so far.
I think that was just the optical illusion, both sides of the bar are 130cm of Orange Extenders + 40cm of Black Extenders and a Beater Bar on the end. Maybe I have the motor too far forward. I have also noticed one little blue angled piece on the engine is slightly wonky...

 - Tombstone - Icewave I wanted to try building a big spinner so I thought why not go for the big guns... And although I'm not 100% happy with Icewave, Tombstone works a treat!

Thank you guys, I'm glad you like them! I think I'm going to slowly work my way through all ABC Reboot bots, I hope I can keep making them to a decent quality! We've got a replica version of Tashic here. 'Nuff said. (Guy has been lurking?)
Haha, It's true I have been lurking as a guest for a while! this screams for a sonny/arcane crossover
Lol, but he'd way outdo me! From what I've seen my stuff isn't even close to the quality that Sonny can make! Thanks man! And I'd like to ask you the same thing with your replicas. I can't even imagine how much extender work that is.
Apparently enough to reduce the engine to a halt if more than 2 are loaded together. PS: Is it considered blasphemous to use Battlebots robots in the Robot Wars Arena? It feels wrong...

Wow what an amazing Hypnodisc replica, the shape is perfect! And Tommy how do you build so well in Stock?! I can barely put a box together in Stock RA2... I wanted to try and build a slightly less complicated replica, and then these happened... - Chomp - Brutus - Lockjaw - Invader

 - Mega Tento V5 - Radioactive & Mega Tento Cheers lads! Haha patience isn't one of my strong points, especially when extenders don't snap properly. I've just been quietly working away at it for a long while! Speaking of, let me introduce my attempt at this not-so little guy! PS: Sorry if I'm taking over this thread a little, these are the only two replicas I've made!

 - Radioactive V2 Just a quick edit to the extender work, the centre pod is a bit of a mess skin-wise and the panelling isn't quite perfect yet but at least it looks better than the previous version (who I have unofficially dubbed Greydioactive)! Thank you for all the feedback guys, the coloured armour pieces are an amazing addition to the game!

First time building a replica of a real bot, just wanted to share my attempt at everybody's 'favourite' Tombstone Fodder. Apologies for the lack of yellow!
Welcome to the forums Arcane, like your Radioactive replica. PS, Ever tried using DSC's IRL component pack?
Wow what a response, thank you everyone! And no I've never heard of it before, although more components are always welcome!
