This game looks exactly like everything I made in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Even if a mission couldn't be solved with a laser gun I still found a way to use it to win.

I want to check out some gameplay of this to see what the damage system is like.

you werent here for courthousedoc

he ****ed his dog, man.

Did he buy it dinner first?

edit: Also who the hell comes to a forum for an obscure robot combat game to brag about having sex with animals? There are like, dozens of Internet forums out there for that exact purpose. That's like the worst thing. Not that he's banging animals but because he's bragging about his conquests in the most hilariously incorrect place imaginable.

we will offer chuck e cheese one dollar for the source code
(Nolan Bushnell founded chuck e cheese so they must have it...)

Nonono, Nolan Bushnell founded Showbiz Pizza Inc which was then bought out by someone else and became Chuck E Cheese's.  :dumb)

Unfortunately Bushnell has no stake in either company anymore and hasn't for a very long time.

It's important to note that the Atari that exists today is nothing like the company that created the 2600 console in the seventies. That company has long since been dismantled and its parts absorbed into other companies. Depending on who you ask, Jack Tramiel did a lot of the initial damage that ruined the company. Infogrames acquired Atari Corp in 2004(?) and finished off the last vestiges of the company caring about its thriving fanbase. Infogrames stirred up a lot of trouble in the early 00's by sending cease and desist letters to homebrew programmers of the Atari 2600 even though at the time the console was nearing thirty years old and hadn't had an official game released for it in two decades.

Of course Infogrames doesn't care about your plans to build off of their game. It's "theirs", even though the RA2 community has done enough collective work to remake the game several times over.

Yeah this thread is going to be bollocks. The majority of people who like Robot Wars don't have a clue what funny is and Robot Wars wasn't really something that you can use to make something funny. This thread isn't going to happen, give up.

I dunno man, the "DAT ASS" picture was pretty choice.

I'm intrigued by other other two games. What are they like? I never saw RA2 sold as a package anywhere.

Real talk though, we need some UHW ackshun all up in this hizzy because I have two robots that I want to enter and I have this stupid paranoia of just posting bots for the hell of it because I am all about that reveal. Once you post a bot that wow factor is lost, it's like if I had posted Jeremy Clarkson before BB9 started. People would be all "oh, look it's that stupid thing with Clarkson's face on it" since the novelty would have worn off. :(

I keep forgetting that people who take the game more seriously than I do will spend more than a casual afternoon working on a robot design, haha.  :dumb)
i spend an hour and a half at most lol :dumb)
Sounds about right. Not counting the skin I spent like 20 minutes tops on Jeremy Clarkson.  :gawe:

Yeah that just sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen. Just wondering since I've been tinkering with large-scale [joke]bots in DSL lately and was reading about them on the Wiki
