just gonna use this to ask questions mostly
i wanted to build a proper tombclone but with dsl 2.2 it's kinda hard considering how easily HS' can be stopped now
so i tinkered with the files
forgive the hastily thrown together bot, but its meant to showcase the modified Perm 132 and DSL bars (the mid section is a regular DSL bar, the ends are op reinforced versions with 8k HP and 4 concussion. they also weigh 66kg so the bots really go flying. the perm itself has 300 speed and 60 torque/power iirc
then i remembered someone saying in the DSL 2.3 wishlist that proper small drum motors were needed
i used minotaur as a reference
it even does the flying thing if it turns too fast lol
the torque does need to be toned down though. right now, its at 80

Beautiful. Maybe use a different weapon for the beak however, as the cutting tooth doesn't look like it will do too much damage. Also, the spam of ant batteries seems unnecessary. Use some blacks instead.
Because the four BSGs, tail feathers, skinned parts, all really scream "EFFECTIVE IN COMBAT" more than they do "ARTBOT".
Hey, the black batteries could easily be changed and it wouldn't hurt the bot in any way. And you didn't give Badger sh** for it. And the cutting tooth in my opinion looks slightly odd and could be changed. Get your head out your backside and allow advice to be given because this bot is very cool but some slight tweaks can make it ever so slightly more combat effective without hurting the looks.
The batteries dont affect the visuals. Replacing the cutting tooth will. I say keep the cutting tooth. Its pretty beak-like as is. The flipper is okay But i feel like the wheelguards are kinda blocky. Might wanna try and see if they can be updated to mesh better with the bot

EXACTLY as I predicted. Beyond awful hardware, with excellent first party games. Yet to see what happens with 3rd party support, but you shouldn't expect many AAA ports from the XB1/PS4 I think. It might get a decent amount of support from indie PC devs, depending on Nintendo's policy on publishing games for the switch.
Well.. if they port DOOM on it.I would buy it ASAP!
Or the new Quake.
Why on earth would you buy Doom on Switch? That's like playing XCOM 2 on a toaster. If you want to play Doom, get it on PC or a primary console.
