So SnS's aren't banned so long as the don't use meltybrain?
Well without Meltybrain they're prone to getting rushed down (especially on an open arena) so they're pretty balanced (kinda low-tier imo)

If you're having trouble with stacking, use movepixel, it's a tool that moves the cursor 1 pixel at a time so you can literally shift the items around until you get the stack instead of having to rub the mouse for 15 minutes and hope that you get the stack.

I actually really like the idea of the unpowered tribars. The execution on this one could be better though....sooo I'm gonna steal the idea and build it eventually ;P unless you nail before I do.

I haven't played stock in a while, but I think the difference between an axle and rad is only 6kg so I wonder how much weight saved is actually worth it having the tribars unpowered. But you have to include deleting the extra batteries that would be used with rads...but the lack of killing power without a pop-up wedge and then you need the second battery....I'm rambling, but you have good ideas in the showcase, Suede. Nice to see originality still can be found in stock.
The bot's basically a stock version of a flail wammer in DSL so using rads would kill the bot since it'll have less razors to ram with, but right now the time-to-kill is really long unless it's fighting a HS, so this setup would probably be better as a pop-up hybrid since the pop-up can deal damage while the spinning razors can act as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reactive_armour against HS/FS just in-case it can't get a clean bumrush for some reason (like if they're fighting on the BBEANS arena)

Snapper 2 burst motors mounted perpendicular to the chassis produces the best wedges with the longest extenders.
Other sources claim that DDTs produce better wedges.
You see, as long as the bot's near the weight limit it won't really matter what burst motor you use, in this game the only thing that really affects wedginess is the height of the burst motor relative to the wedge's current position, the flatter the better (Which is why Snapper2's seem like the best burst motor to use). However, if you put the burst motor back enough you can negate the height difference SnapperII/DDTs have and make a better wedge than if you slapped a Snapper2 on the front of the bot.

Quote
You'll be able to win against HS more often if you put some armor on the front.

Thought of that. 2 small ramplates fit on the top of the wedge better that nothing... But not all HS-es strike on the same level. Probably I won't have enough weight to cover the entire wedge with ram plates.

Ramplates are not the only protective item in this game, lawnmowers, snowplows, casters, and bracket wedges work too. Get creative and figure out how to create maximum protection with the least amount of parts, it's the fundamental skill you need to learn to be good at this game.

Also if you remove the red extender and shave off a few kgs  you should be able to get another razor

Red extender's there because for some reason I can't do the "2 extenders right next to each other thing" on the first extender coming off a burst motor.  Donno if I'm just not trying hard enough.
Snapper-load the Snapper2 and then effe the extenders while the Snapper2's floating out.

Since there's a big chance that someone's gonna forget to send their bot, can you just record the match between everyone who've sent their bots ?

Thanks Gauche Suede!

Yeah, sorry about that, Reier. When I looked back, I sorta cringed, didn't think I was that bad. lol
I should able to modernize it better this time around, I only had Paint Shop Pro back then. Now I have bunch of professional tools and softwares.
Although, I didn't have the chance to do some 3D modeling back then, that was one of my biggest regrets.
Hey no problem  ;)

Why don't you showcase your bots here ?

Hey, can I help remake the bots ?
Which ones?  Could you be specific please?  I just mentioned what needed to be done in my previous post if you want to replace a bot here.
Up to you, I can do all of them.

I'm back!    :D  Wait, who am I?   I was the UI/Logo designer for DSL-TC 2.0 mod.  Sorry I didn't say much back then and wasn't around for 10 years. ...yeah. I blame school and jobs for my time, you know how it is. One thing lead to another.  ..and many other things.

Anywho... heard about Robot Arena 3 from a friend and I was surprised to think it wasn't dead. I had to come back to find my passion I once had. :D
Fingers crossed for mod-support friendly and will be looking forward to that.
Hey welcome back  :claping

making a game for a small community of fans who aren't even giving money to the studio seems unrealistic at best.
it's not, its aimed at the fans from the new seasons of BB/RW
I'm sure they'd buy the game but they'd have to find it, first. I am skeptical that the only amount of advertising that this game has had has all been GTM related. Hopefully, they release this on Steam and they get a bit more exposure for simply being on Steam.

I hope this game is on steam
You have to be blind (or an anti-DRM hipster) to not release a PC game on Steam these days.

Oh, and if you're confused about the stats of items, just know that :

Grip : The speed multiplier a wheel gives to a motor, the higher the grip the faster the bot will go.
Fracture : The amount of damage it takes for said item to get knocked-off after it has lost all of it's HP.
Concussion : The damage multiplier of weapons when hitting other components.
Piercing : The damage multiplier of weapons when hitting chassis.

Knocked this thing together in 10 minutes to try to give the new guy an example of a MW flipper. Titanium 1. Anything I can improve? I haven't played 2.1 in years so I might've missed something obvious

12 ants btw
Needs more armor.

7 ant bats, TD wheels and steel extenders. It's starting to look a lot better.
More of a nitpick but can you use the reverse version for one of the BSGs so that it's symetrical and creates a wider flipping base ?

1 black + 2 pinks, outwedges everything in ASAI, and has 24 razors.

Due to increasing school work and the mid-tests coming up, this is probably the last time i'm going to touch this game for a while.

Is there An In game Screenshot or did you use a different program for the photo there?
Press f8 to take a screenshot in-game (and press f12 to see the hitbox of items, useful to see if a hitbox of an item gets glitched out and is actively ruining your bot)
