So, the winner's bracket quarterfinals look like this: (warning, spoilers for all 8 matches are ahead!) Trumpetguy (Soul Provider) vs. Virus Bomb (Disaster Box) RedlineM203 (Cube or Cuboid) vs. Guitars (Sweet Pea) Urjak (Bane Revolution II) vs. R0B0SH4RK (Fire Ant) GK (Fretless) vs. Doomkiller (Dharak)

I don't see any problems what so ever. it is one of the best AI packs out there i think.
Really? Thanks
lol
EDIT: Has anyone actually downloaded it yet? :P
I have downloaded it. Sure, it's a giant wedge battle, but it's quite fun trying to throw the opponent OOTA.

Goldberg theme FTW!
The bad thing is that the theme was the lousier version! When I think Goldberg, I think of his original music:

So, I'll be facing off against Horror and the Cube Plough next round... let's just hope that he doesn't have the same luck as Lukeus who almost got the victory over me.
Or in other words, PHEW. That was too close!

Thinking through all of the robots I've ever used/seen, it's probably Skeksis.

Can we have a multibot and have each bot be from a different game?
That sounds like it may be stretching it. If they were from the same game (for instance, two robots based on Team Fortress 2), I think it would be fine. Two different games would be rather jerkish, especially since you could deprive someone of a perfectly good choice because you wanted to enter two different non-related robots.

3 pages and nobody has a Pokemon-Bot? ...... How does that even work.
You missed the Dugtrio mention earlier, man. It's already been in a BOTM competition.

Is it Pong by any chance? :P
No, that's too old. I'm aiming for Pacman, and I already have a rough sketch as to what the robot will look like.

I know exactly what I would aim for, and it would be a blast to the old school.

Well, it looks like I'm going to 2-1 in a heartbeat. I'm facing one of them there SFTW's, Stripy Cube.

Its a desktop, HDDs dont break down unless you really do something odd with your PC. Rule of thumb from someone who is partially responsible for data integrity on ~200 Minecraft servers: never ever trust HDDs, always act as if they could all break down in 5 minutes. Have a solid backup plan, be it off-site backups over the internet, a RAID1 configuration, an auto-synced NAS or even burning to CDs. Never store your important data in just one place.
Ive never had a HDD break on me, Nobody I know that owns a desktop has ever had a HDD break on em. Even one of my brothers, That runs his PC with the case open & Just likes to mess around with the stuff inside ALOT, He has broken a motherboard & A GPU (Literally broken) but never a HDD.
The only person that I know of that has broken a HDD is my OTHER brother, But he owns a laptop & It lasted 3 years none the less :P
However, depending on the manufacturer, a hard drive could go kaput within a year. I've heard plenty of horror stories about one certain manufacturer (Seagate) having poor HDD's which have regularly stopped working after as little as 2 weeks.

Attempting to stir up more interest for myself in Battlebots. Here's my next idea, Cantaloop: Stats: Large JX Burst powers the flipper with 2 Spike strips to trap and flip the opponent; 9 ants; NPC T-64 Fasts with Tazbot wheels; Plastic 5 armor. Comments? Questions? Anyone?

Everyone's doing flippers!
I've got a Bar VS, only one so far I think.
And I've got a sawbot or a HS ready and willing (both are in my showcase).

Batmobile A.I. from BBEANS 2 kind of did... then again, that isn't a great example.

http://www.vidtomp3.com MP3's are audio only, though.
Will it work?
Is it free?
No Viruses?
Yes to all.

For the last bot, I just said screw it. Not worth my time. As for the upcoming Battlebots tourney, I've put together 2 robots, both of which are probably between lousy and really lousy. Here they are: Shin Slasher- a response to Hard Bot's "sawbot", featuring Tite 3 armor, 3 Chewblades on a Perm 80 L, and Titanium front skirt (120 cm). Drivetrain is NPC Fasts with N-12 wheels. Flood- an upgraded version of an older robot, Drazah. Plastic 1 armor (ugh), 2 55 kg hammers on a 20x160 DSL Bar powered by a Dual Mag. Drivetrain is NPC's with Hypnos. So... criticisms? Barkings of unoriginality? Direct insults to my intelligence?

Putting something together; hopefully, it'll be accepted.
UPDATE: I finished the robot. Now, to wait.

I wonder if Fotepx will ever send a bot for anything. But isn't acornia in BBEANS AI?
Acornia 2, 2 HMS, and 3 are all in BBEANS AI.

So, the SFTW battle is over and wow, was it a lame way to go. I fully expected Timothy to just dominate the fight, not get stranded on the wall all 3 times to get counted out. Luke got rather lucky. Also, Joe, what is the song that is playing during the SKBT vs. 027 LB match? I recognize it immediately as a WWE production theme, but can't place to who or what that came from.

Doesn't this already kind of exist, what with Final Fantasy Dissidia for the PSP and Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring for the PS1?
