Sorry for that then. I will not to do those posts again. Doesn't suit me. @Sage and Joe - Ok, I made a mistake. We all do from time to time. I found it relatively easy the first time I built a tri-spinner bot in stock. Maybe there is more thought in it. I honestly don't care, as I don't build in stock. 203

Off-Topic Discussion / Recommendations for a good, cheap (free?) Anti-Virus software?« on: January 07, 2011, 05:26:17 AM »
All,
I've recently had to uninstall AVG anti virus for my Windows XP, in order for Team Fortress 2 to run properly (not do the sound loop thing which happens). However, I am now in need of a new anti virus software. Any recommendations? 210
Site News and Feedback / Re: PLEASE READ: Personal Address to the RA2 Community« on: January 07, 2011, 05:05:10 AM »Building bots has gone from simple designs with a heavy focus on a cool paint job to seeing how many spikes can be shoved onto a bot. Oh well. Agreed 100%. I try and build in the "old style", as I was around back in those days, only for a brief period of time, though. Whenever I build in stock, I don't just snapper tons of tris and irons onto a chassis, as it: A) looks ugly B) has no real thought to it. Anyone could build one. Before making a thread, ask yourself: A definite must read for all people who, on a constant basis, post threads like that. I've been guily of it once, but my reason was "because I need their advice." And because of that, I solved the problem. However, I feel that Sparkles, Avalance, FAILTX, TX etc. won't read this, because they basically spend their life in the playground. But, as much as I loathe FAILTX, I still think he has decent bot building skill. 211

Try searching for the name of whatever you've called the texture.

I have a very bad feeling I"m going to lose to FOTEPX, even though I spent ages stacking the spikes.

I thought I posted after Thyrus, turns out it didn't see it.
I'll repost then: Regrettably, I have not had the time to AI the bots, due to there being Christmas, my Birthday, various school preps etc. However, I am determined not to let this tourney fade and diminish, so if anyone can AI the rest of the bots, it would be greatly appreciated. 215
