I actually really liked Growler, it was the only house robot that was really effective for ramming. Shunt had the scoops, but it mostly used the axe.
And I'm not questioning what you said Joeblo, but I don't remember seeing the flamethrower, ever. Any vids?

needs a skin like black with red flames or something and yeah N12s would look good I reckon it needs a real skin, from an actual F1 team. If you're going to do something, might as well do it properly... I think Brawn GP would be easiest.

Nice idea.
Maybe use round extenders on the HPZs as axels. You could even use them to try and simulate suspension if you're feeling brave.

I know there is a thread about this already, but while we're on the subject, does anyone know when/if its going to be televised?

I'm entering, but I doubt I'll be able to beat the other designs. Well, if you never try, you'll never know...

I agree with your views on Cassius Chrome and Mr Psycho. It almost seemed like they were just building more house robots for the sake of building them. And they talked up pretty much every house robot didn't they?

SK wasn't really that overrated Joeblo, it was pretty big compared to other robots and would have had to have been pretty powerful to be able to pick up bots, with either arm, and parade around the arena with them. And you have to admit his 'party trick' of spinning round and letting go of a robot, sending it flying, was sometimes pretty cool.
Plus, while Sgt. Bash's flame thrower was indeed for show...
Sgt. Bash + Nemesis/Diotoir= =DDD

Sorry if I bring your mood down even lower, but the space management on both of those bots is quite bad.

I'm using a laptop with very little trouble. If you're talking about it being hard using the touch pad, get one of those little mice you can plug in the side of your lappy. Its what I use and the only drawback is the right click on mine doesn't work, but I just press the right click button underneath the tp and alls good. =)
EDIT: Also if you're having trouble with saving your game, post it in more detail in the technical support section.

RW:Nickelodeon was in fact american. I saw a vid of it on youtube a while back and remember it having american presenters and american competitors and everything. But it was shot in the London studio and they did use the origonal house bots. Also, I've never seen it in the UK.
RW Extreme Warriors was what I was on about an american RW series, I just couldn't remember the name. It was also shot in London.

You can do that with round extenders. If you look closley, you can see they're not actually completely round, they're more hexagonal. Attach one were you want to, zoom in and look at it side on, the hover another round extender over the side of it so you can see where the spikes will attach. If you can keep your eye on the side of the extender the spikes will attach, rotate to desired position, attach spikes, and enjoy!
Seems to need a rather complicated explanation but its really very simple.

I think the chicken drills at the back are useless pretty much, and square extenders are heavier, but the same strength as round extenders, so don't use them as they waste weight.
The chassis could also be shrunk a little more and without the redbirds, one black battery would be enough.
Still looks good though =)

The Nickelodeon version of RW was a kind of spinoff made for the Nickelodeon channel with american presenters and competitiors and everything, but it was shot in London.
I also believe that another american version of RW was shot in London for America, and thats probably the one hosted by Mick Foley. The British version was always hosted by Craig Charles, except for series one when it was hosted by Jeremy Clarkson.

I'm scared to get involved in this for fear of being accused of sexist pigism, but I found a video I really quite like...

I saw one episode of Robotica, can't remember the robots involved though.
@Joeblo: BBC sold RW after series six. Here in the UK series seven was shown on Channel Five.
