This damn show, man. Gets me excited just like it did when I was 12.
Also, looks like a ton has happened since I've been off doing my own thing, but that's to be expected since it's been like two years since I last posted here. Gonna have to find a suitable place to shake hands and kiss babies before I disappear again.
Vaguely on topic: Inertia Labs followed me on Twitter last night. Pretty sure I got hate-fav'd by them since I predicted Stinger would come out on top.
They followed me also. It was awesome. Also had the Battlebots founders answer my AKA questions, I felt special lol

Another half-assed method I've used is to wire the drive motors to the srimech button as well.
I've done that but, when it self-rights, it gets stuck driving forward. I kept changing the range and it still drives straight after righting itself.
Hmm, weird. Glad you found a solution though!

Also I've filmed most of R1 now. I will progress with the tourney tomorrow regardless of the final 2 submissions.

My robot is bad, it's so bad. It needed like 3 more rebuilds than it got, and the execution is awful. Supposed to be an undercutting gut ripper with the RADs (supposed to be 4), and the hammer over the top because I needed it. Instead I spent 2 hours on that mess and called it a day.
