If you want to line things up, before you export a skin you can mark points on each side with decals.
this. to clarify, you make an additional template with the decals to compare with the actual one you are using for the skin. Works pretty well. Nice bots tho. Impressive skins for paint.net.

I've always been against the OP weapons, like the hworf blade, but sometimes they look good and can work when you need a light-weight weapon after using the rest of the weight on aesthetics. Hworf blades can be used correctly and they're fine in moderation on mws and hws, but putting 3 on a lightweight is ridiculous. I wouldn't just bash solely Badnik for blatant disregard for the spirit of IRL, but he clearly slapped some OP weapons on a fast motor and put an unimaginative chassis around it and won. That just sucks.
