Lol, love you puting it into your pocket. Really awesome stuff Mike.
Not quite "my" pocket. My figure's not quite that good. It's been officially accepted into all three contests. If you like it, send some votes my way.

With mixing, you can either do it on the transmitter itself or get a small plug in mixer that can be put in the robot itself. DX6i mixing: Lighter robot weight Lower top speed due to how the mixing works Onboard mixing: Higher robot weight Faster drive speed I've used this one in several robots and it works great- http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-DGEVMXR.htmlThe fingertech one works as well, but it doesn't failsafe properly, so it may not be legal if the rules require a full drive system failsafe.

I'll have the usual small fleet of bots. Somewhere between 4 and 8 depending on which of my teammates make it and if I manage to toss another one together by then.

I'm guessing one of the "Raptors" but I don't remember any of them being green.
Gamma Raptor was green in season 5 of Battlebots.

Are you going by where the bot was built or where the builder(s) reside? Also, you can search by state at http://www.buildersdb.com/search.aspEdit: Any of my bots fit for Georgia if you're going with "Reside" and Team Tentacle is in Hawaii.

I put together an Instructable on my 1lb bot Algos. It covers the initial build, some redesign, shaft hardening and titanium anodizing. The Instructable also includes .slddrw and .dxf's of all of the waterjet cut components used. Check it out and vote for it in the Digital Fabrication Contest if you like it. http://www.instructables.com/id/One-Pound-Fighting-Robot-Algos/

The Atlanta Mini Maker Faire was yesterday, and Atlanta Robot Combat (new group I've been helping with) put on a 1 and 3 pound tournament in an uncommon format. The opening "qualifiers" were done as 2v2 matches with randomly paired teams. With a total of 6 bots, there were 6 tag team matches with each robot sitting out twice. The Top 4 robots after these matches (based on a scoring system of 2 points for a win, 1 point for being mobile at the end of the fight) move on to the semi finals to face off 1 on 1 to determine a champion. NCR did quite well with Klazo tying for 3rd, Reptar finishing 2nd and Algos winning the 1lb class. Klazo also won the 1lb rumble. Video is uploading and will be populating my channel shortly- http://www.youtube.com/user/mikencrOnce the upload is done, I'll have playlists posted for each weight class and the overall event.

If there was an event closer to me that ran them I'd consider it, but as it is, the largest class that's run with any regularity within a reasonable distance of me is 30lbs.

Nyx got a minor modification today. The 15t sprockets I've had on the Dewalt drive motors have been replaced with 12t sprockets. Why gear it so it drives slower?
1. Nyx has been throttle limited to 75% power since the middle of Motorama 2012. This should allow me to remove the limits. 2. With the limiter removed, the speed is actually better. 16.6mph theoretical top speed at 24v with the old setup, limited to 75% is 12.45mph. With the new ratio and no limiter, 13.3mph. 3. More torque means it will get to speed faster. 1.3s to top speed now vs. 1.8s with the previous gearing. 4. More torque also reduces the stress on the motors and electrical system for any given loading, which can't hurt.

Actually I thought the arm looked like a sort of boom mount for tethered controls, like the kind of thing you'd see at the competitions they do in India.
5. I'm not even sure the thing's set up to be run by remote. Without getting a better look, I can't be certain, but it looks like the "controls" are at the end of the arm and this thing's almost set up more like a powered tow vehicle or something along those lines.
With the solid arm, it doesn't even match the stuff from India as you've got almost no range and limited flexibility. There's so much oddness and wrongness with it, if anyone's really in a spot where they want to buy a bot/kit, do it right and get something from kitbots/Robot Marketplace or wait for a both that's actually decently built to go up for sale.

On the off chance anyone here is seriously considering trying to buy that thing: Seriously. Don't buy it. It's a terrible idea.
There's so much wrong with it you'll end up scrapping most of it just to get something that sorta works.
1. It appears to have a differential at the rear, meaning you've likely got 1 motor driving the whole bot and some complex braking system to turn, if it's even capable of turning.
2. The chains connecting the wheels are done wrong, there's nothing forcing the chain to contact the middle wheel, so as soon as there's any chain slack it'll start skipping.
3. The whole chassis seems to be welded together with no real access points, good luck working on it.
4. They spray painted the whole thing black, including the wiring.
5. I'm not even sure the thing's set up to be run by remote. Without getting a better look, I can't be certain, but it looks like the "controls" are at the end of the arm and this thing's almost set up more like a powered tow vehicle or something along those lines.
