Diotoir gets ignored Nuts gets accepted
???
Don't forget Tanto. I would've loved to see it compete. Gravity didn't qualify as well. Yet a robot like Sweeny Todd did? I'm not sure why such bizarre choices were made, but here's hoping that next series (it's likely to happen) we can have more robots enter.

For those that haven't seen it there has been a new announcement on the facebook page.
*look at the original post for the video*
Uhhh... how is this happening? Like, superb work in putting all this together, but surely now that the reboot is a thing, you guys don't have the rights to the Robot Wars name anymore? Unless this is becoming unofficial now... I'd certainly like to know why this has suddenly been announced, because I honestly don't really see this being included officially without some legal issues down the line.

It can also be predicted with reasonable confidence that Thor will be eliminated in the first round next episode.
Oh really?
Pretty sure that wasn't a first round match if you're talking about that clip of Thor being thrown OOTA by Matilda.
Oh yeah, my bad. I thought there was a third robot on it's back that was also OotA. Turns out we only saw Thor and TR2.
That MAY have been an exhibition match, but if not, it's basically telling us that TR2 is in the final four, since they aren't in the same heat. Unless they do a round robin for the final also.
Actually, now that you mention it, there was a clip in the intro of Behemoth fighting Gabriel. But Behemoth didn't go through... Wildcard spoiler?

I agree with Badger; this does seem rather low budget; maybe they just put more money into the actual event rather than the camera equipment. The fights are definitely good, but they seem lacking compared to BattleBots season 2.

I quite enjoyed Nuts. It's really not that bad a robot, the flail chain is a decent enough weapon.
My only major gripe, other than the camera work was the spoilers throughout the episode.
Yeah, that's STILL an issue, after all these years. I knew the heat final before it even happened. It can also be predicted with reasonable confidence that Thor will be eliminated in the first round next episode.

Geuss who?
Also, you're not really adding anything to this (already a joke) thread by announcing your return.

Didn't know you had ants Craig. or would you just have been spectating?
Yeah, he has Ants. I "fought" one of them that had a flipper, but I think the flipper broke beforehand and I can't quite remember why. I'll edit this post with the reason when I find it.

Shut up, Helloface.
Well that was a reasonable response to a reasonable post.

is rule of 7 break allowed
I have no idea what that is, so, no. xD
In RA2 you can only attach 7 objects to each other, rule of 7 break is using a free download tool from serge so you can attach more than 7 objects to each other, gives people more freedom.
However, we're building Lightweights, so having more than 7 parts attached to something isn't exactly advisable.

I'm open for a teammate. I'll likely be prioritizing Garry's Wars Discord members over regular GTM members for this one as it'd be easier to talk to them.
(noticed that I put GTM Discord instead of Garry's Wars Discord, has been corrected)

I'll make sure to build something for this. Lower weight classes are fun!

Soooo is it in 2.1 or 2.2?
That's been answered. Twice. He's said twice that he wasn't aware of a 2.2 and he also said that he'd change it accordingly.

Pyro does need some buffing, to be honest.
Lot of it's weapons were nerfed throughout the course of the last 1-2 year(s).

And if I use titanium, it will be a HW, and then UnderWeight!
In case you are not already aware, DSA stands for Double Strength Aluminium.

its been very fun to watch this but I wish o could face Papyrus bike...
You might be able to request a match after the tournament is done. It can't be guaranteed, but I think Thrackerzod would allow it.

I likely won't be entering. The arena, I wasn't too fussed over, but Stock HW? I like me some Stock, but I don't think a HW tournament would be fun at all, personally. Good luck to everyone who (predictably) will enter, though.
