So Jim showed Nightmare on Facebook and Nightmare has rotating arms to move upside-down. Not sure how effective it will be but the wheels lost protection. Then again those wedge guards it had aren't very durable considering how Witch Doctor knock 'em loose.

So Warhead gave up the spinner eh? Shame. Does it even self-right with that configuration?
A matchup I hope would happen is Bronco vs Mecha Sub-Zero. :P

Uh so where do I find the new fork wedges?

After exploring further with attaching drive motors outside the chassis. This is what I end up making. I... have no clue what to do with this. But it's a start. I'll probably scrap the concept for something. It's supposed to have a flipper but eh. I haven't seen an effective design yet in DSL 3 Beta at the moment. Also big wheels are funny.

My LW Spinner, Ripple. Why I design it like this? I was going for a Chunk design buuuuut weight constraints. So I turned it into an angled horizontal spinner like Trimangle. Probably the worst idea yet.

Nah. Rumble's still around. He just never won at all because he can't deal damage for sh**. It makes good fodder bot though. MW Hellblau - Removed the spikes on the wheels because they add to the bot's already wide frame and often end up knocking it on its back when pushed against the wall. MW Tremor - Now it has three wedgespikes instead of one. HW Rumble - Now has the wedgespikes that wasn't present on the previous picture. A LW robot I never show here that does pretty well is Thrasher. He's too boring of a design and a pretty bad at one. So that's why I don't show him. It's literally a T-shaped bot with a spinning bar. Currently rethinking of how I should approach the design at this point. EDIT: New MW robot Prowler. Any input on what I can do to add to realism of the design or something?

So it might be my laptop's graphical settings. It has an Geforce Nvidia graphics card. I tried to load certain parts to edit with in Robot Arena 2, it crash my graphic driver.

Well it crash on the editing robots part. Specifically the ones with active weapons. I had no problem editing pushbots. It's the ones with active weapons my game seem to have problem. They try to load the robot only to crash.
I guess it's probably the fact that they're copied from another computer? Maybe. But it didn't have a problem with the pushbot who also have been copied.

While I'm waiting to upgrade my Asus laptop to Windows 10 next month since there's apparently a bug that broke several comps with it. I had to retire my Lenovo Windows 7 laptop cause it was showing signs of age. So when I try to edit a robot with active weapon. Robot Arena 2 crashes. It only had Mod DSL 3. So, any ideas or is Windows 8 and beyond is just a lost cause for Robot Arena 2?

I wish they bring back the background music. I don't think the guy who composed for the Battlebots show actually released his stuff did he?

I think I figure out what may be the problem. Because Rumble's wedge is so low to the ground, it keeps hitting against it making it move awkwardly. Sometimes it jumps a bit when driving. lol Just like some robots hitting the tiles in real life. Hellblau now with extenders. Manage to fit some good batteries to fit with in the weight limit for middleweights. Practically I took Rumble's chassis design and cut it in half but doesn't form the H-shape like the Original Sin design. Smaller wedge. Wedging tactics can only get me so far but they're fun to drive.

That was the only Terrorhurtz looking axe I can find unless someone can show how I can make it with the DSL 3 Beta parts. lol
Meanwhile I have this one driving issue with Rumble. It always steer to the right when I try to make it drive straight. Everything was set up as it should be. It still has that issue.

Bluuuh. Back from hiatus. Not sure if I should necropost but I might as well since this is my thread and I'll see if I did something wrong here. But yeah I've been spending time in DSL3 Beta. Not sure if any more AI robots has been made for it but I did got some that are usable. I always loved Terrorhurtz and Killerhurtz. Added the prongs at the front to block against spinners as I axe them from above. In the words of Hak Foo. ANGRY CROW TAKES FLIGHT. Yeah kind of rip off the chassis design from Original Sin just to deal with weight issues. At least it's more cooler looking. :P Another rip off of another RoboGames bot, Federal MIT. Couldn't make it realistic unfortunately. It barely has any battery power. Not a very good bot but a robot that's fun to look at.

So this is the final episode but... the following Grudge Matches are still not shown. Hypershock vs. Icewave Stinger: The Killer Bee vs. Bulldog vs. The Splatter Complete Control vs. Razorback What happened to them? Are they not gonna show them at all?

Oh NOW Ghost Raptor broke down. I guess Bite Force's anti-push magnets worked against its shock divergence system.

Overdrive noooooooo. Let's be honest. Those wheelguards are such a bad idea. When they're bent, they **** over the drive. Now Team Inertia Labs got it right in comparison.
And just like a predator, Tombstone toyed with its prey before striking for the kill.
Well, something broke inside Lockjaw. Back to the drawing board for ya, Donald. I'm sure Lockjaw will come back as the fourth coming of Diesector. (Karcas 2 and Root Canal were the other comings)
Two of the bots I look forward to seeing happen to be fighting each other. Sad that Hypershock was not working well. It had a lot of potential. So unlike Original Sin, Biteforce has different plows for certain spinners. Warhead sure scratched that wedge a lot than we thought.
For the upcoming matchups I speculate this.
Witch Doctor & Shaman vs Tombstone - Anyone can win this fight. It's hard to tell. Overhaul vs Bite Force - Although I'm not a big fan of Overhaul, it definitely has the speed and power to pierce the treads of Bite Force. Overhaul won't try to overwhelm Bite Force in pushing, it will LACERATE them with its pincer. However, Bite Force will for once use its clamp here no doubt. It could go either way. Ghost Raptor vs Icewave - Chuck better use that scoop he has equipped Preda Raptor in the past to be able to fight this beast here. But it's a test of endurance here. Stinger vs Bronco - The fight I'm REALLY looking forward to. I expect their clash to be reminiscent of Sewer Snake's bout with Ziggy back in 2006.
The quarter finals are gonna be explosive though.

So far my thoughts on the episode.
"Spirited performance?" Why the hell do they keep saying that? Are they trying to make her not feel bad about how her creation just suck? Cause it ain't gonna work especially when it got humiliated in its fights.
Has Team Razer actually tested Warhead's self-right? They need to at least modify the shape of the wings or something and make the articulation faster. Good to see Ian Lewis in good spirit compared to how he was more than a decade ago.
Blegh. Ghost Raptor's luck kicked in this time. But now its luck has run out. It's gonna be fighting ICEWAVE.
"Speed and technique?" Surely you jest, Lisa. Aaaaand it's flipped. No surprise.
ANd they revealed the upcoming matchups as far as I can remember.
Lockjaw vs Overhaul - Ugh. Just why a rematch this early. Considering how much they SPOIL much of the fight for us. It looks like Lockjaw ain't doing so well. Its jaws was a massive disappointment enough especially when it can't lift bots effectively. Biteforce vs. Hypershock - Very interesting matchup. One of the ferocious spinners against what may be an anti-spinner brick in design. I'm looking forward to this. That is not sarcasm. It's a pretty cool robot. Tombstone vs. Radioactive - ...Yeah. That bot is gonna get trashed. Witch Doctor vs. Overdrive - Um, channel the power of your ancestors, OverDrive. Anything but Minion though.

Well the opening of Battlebots in Comedy Central also spoiled the fights. Namely Backlash vs. Ziggo in Season 2 and Hazard vs. T-Minus in Season 5. But yes it's still very grating.

Since it's Preda Raptor under a different name and weaponry, it's definitely gonna have technical problems. Again.
