Right heres all the drop zone objects I came across, there may be more. https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/Drop Zone Objects.rar
I've noticed in the textures folder there are .rwm files, would these mean anything? They open up as a page-full of gibberish in notepad.

Ohh I see, and yeah I didnt think so. I've found that the .arm, .chs, .are files all open up in notepad. They just detail info such as camera angles, damage and strength for each object. Not sure where the meshes are then at the mo, will have to have a further nosey! As far as textures are concerned theres an anvil, barrels, washing machine, and a piano etc.

There are indeed other files, although some of them seem specialised to the game or something. Theres ".col" and ".chs" files for robot chassis' (Fictional and real-life robots), ".col" and ".wpn" files for weapons, ".arm" files for armour and others. I presume the ".col" files are the meshes as they appear in multiple places? Also theres meshes and textures for drop zone objects and barrels, perhaps you could use those drop zone objects?
And ahh yes more arenas, that could be a cunning plan! :approve: I put together the Japanese Rooftop arena floor a while back (the arena floors are in sections in seperate images).

Could make our own Robot Wars UI from some game files and internet textures at some point. And ahh actual meshes and things I dont really have a clue about, I'm more the graphics side aha. Although looking in an "Arenas" folder, each arena has a ".are" and ".col" file if that means anything to anyone?
And oohh yes the plume of smoke that would be a nice touch!

No worries! I was soo happy when I came across those music downloads on the RW Wiki! And ahh well I don't actually own AoD on PC, only on PS2. I had a nosey on that a bit ago and the resolution and music seem to be poorer on PS2 versions. E.g. the main menu background image is of a resolution of 256x256, so it would probably look quite poor on higher res PC monitors. The RW:ED PC version UI is of higher resolution, but arguably doesnt look as nice as the AoD one. But yes it would be nice to have a Robot Wars UI  Personally I'd wanna try and make it look like another Robot Wars game rather than RA2 hehe

Okay these appear to be all of the arena textures, hopefully I havent missed any! https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/8956Robot Wars Arena Textures.rar There are only 2 garage door textures, so the right hand door image must be flipped to use as the left door.
The full soundtrack from all of the Robot Wars games is available here in .zip files http://robotwars.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:StalwartUK/Robot_Wars_music so these could be made of use too.

Wow this is looking brilliant! :claping If there's any textures from RW:ED you think you're missing just let me know!
And as far as the "3, 2, 1" and other stuff is concerned, this was how I did it on mine in case it is any help. I managed to get music to play during a match, so I made a custom track with RW music and a recording of the "3, 2, 1" from one of my RW DVDs at the start of it. Unfortunately it often isn't in time depending on how long it takes to load, but better than nothing! I also replaced the end of match commentry with recordings of "Cease" and the SFX that go with it. And managed to find a recording of what sounds like the exact same siren used on the show on the net so I added that too. In case any of that is of help, but obviously need to finish the model first haha!

daleksec7 heres the light effect texture you wanted. Did you need the textures for the back wall garage doors and control pods and stuff?

Thyrus how did you blank off the areas where the flame grill and dropzone were? Did you have to recolour the red to grey? I've wondered how to do stuff like that.

Are the chicken motors from a component pack? They look useful. Mace looks fab, all the more incentive to finish the one I'm making. Thanks for the comments on Stealth and yes I have put it up against Hypno-Disk. My model is realistically slow so he managed to run rings around it before I could get the flipper positioned, so it got smashed, again. I've always liked Stealth and thought that it could have gone on to do well with upgraded weaponry and faster drives.

Looking fab guys! After being very impressed by Resetti's replica of Stealth I thought I'd make one for myself. I havent reskinned the disk or motor yet. But she's a middleweight at 355.5(Kgs? Seems too much to be Kg, is it pounds?). Also working on a Mace of my own.

Ooh looking fab! Always wanted to use that Firestorm as intended. Yes please do add it to the bot exchange! GoldenFox93 I never uploaded the red "eyes" on the front of Panic Attack from RW:ED, here you go... Hopefully an incentive to skin it. I might have a go myself if you dont have chance.

Oh ok custom parts thats not so bad. Yes I do have the RWAI pack installed. A lot of the replicas in that look relatively poor by todays standards don't they?

Had a go at making Dead Metal from series 2. Not skinned it yet. I had to use the small cheatbot (I think) motors to cram everything in.

I would use a 60cm saw but it's a bit too big. It would dig into the floor and the bodywork.

An almost finished Demolition Demon. It's a pity it can't have a pointy top. Is there any way to get the shiny metal effect as the robot should have?

Yeah thats pretty good. I haven't attempted Diotoir yet... Just made some slight alterations to Wheelosaurus. I've changed the castors to proper wheels, added some disks between the chassis and the main wheel (as the real thing seems to have gear wheels here. It also makes my model wider, which it needed). Finally I've also changed the cutting disk to a DSL bar as suggested. I think it is my final version. Oh and thanks for the great comments! This is only my second ever replica, my other being Blade https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,3680.345.html
