bracket updated and losers round 1 recorded. i'll edit that when i can i.e. when i feel like it
also i don't think i was very clear in the signups thread, so i'll explain here: in the losers round, the robot with the lowest seed in losers enters first and fights the bot with the 2nd lowest seed. the winner of that fights the 3rd lowest seed, etc until one bot is left standing. this is like in revolution 2. however, unlike last tournament, these matches are now best of 3. sorry i didn't explain this earlier

oh ok, something like this then? extra extenders there because i figured i should do something to protect the motor i'll probably enter this or some upgraded version of this. on the off chance i do go with mini vipress though, it'll be a hammer and not a clamp. the snapper just isn't strong enough to hold bots in place

tried upgrading it. should've mentioned that the weapon spins down in order to trap bots. tried to save some weight by ditching the plows all together, not sure if that's a smart move though or i could just enter a mini vipress i still don't know what i should do

i was up until like 3am last night trying to make something for centauri 2 and now i'm torn between which bot to enter i might just downgrade the armor on the 2nd one to a single plow and add more weapons. if anyone has ideas on how to better either of these bots PLEASE let me know. i feel stuck also since i never posted it here's vipress doing a thing

1. is it in poor taste to vote for myself? if so i nominate badnik. if he put some bigger wheels on his bot i think he could have gone a fair bit further
2. click made a good point of how having a wide bot can be a liability in the octagon, so my vote goes to paralytic dream
3. falling star 2, especially with how the weapon was used vs paralytic dream
4. badnik getting stuck in my clamp at the end of our match. it wasn't intentional, but i'll take it

shame that the hammers got in so early in game 2. i knew he wasn't out because octagon, so i kept my guard up
interesting strategy from click to reverse the weapon direction. again though, good driving from tz
round 4:
this is why i didn't let my guard down in round 3. no one knows what can happen in the octagon except the nose knows

yay i won! i decided to be a bit more aggressive in game 2, and it worked out pretty good (also got the clamp stuck again at the very end). ggs freeziez

i swear i was doing everything i could to release badnik in game 2, the clamp just got stuck. worked out for me though so i can't complain. good driving from him too, he nearly pitted me a couple times on the first game. ggs dude
also feelsbad for tz. got clipped by the flipper then a bad bounce is all it took

UPDATE: so i was an idiot and completely forgot that freeziez sent something. adding his bot would make one too many, but after further testing, uberpyro's bot is not capable of controlled movement when ai'd. i gave him a couple days to fix this, and though he did send an update, it's still not able to pass a controlled movement test, so his bot will be replaced with freeziez's (sorry man)
anyway i'm working on the splash atm. will be up maybe tomorrow but probably monday
