Thanks to whoever a long while back for reintroducing me to Keldian. I swear I've come across F.T.L during my power metal travels but didn't give it the chance it deserved.

Pretty sure that I did that one. Keldian has probably become one of my favourite bands in recent months. The band definitely grew on me (started as three songs on a playlist, went to all three albums on a playlist).

Now for a guilty pleasure. Although their recent albums have been less about 7-minute long guitar wank sessions, so there is that.

I aim to finish learning C++ and (if there's enough time) use the knowledge to do something video game related.

I am bad at video games and play Meta Knight, so there's really no point in tryharding it for me, if I win, I win, if I lose, I lose, if I lose because my up+B or down+B decided to come out as a side+B, I rage. I've won quite a few times as Meta Knight, but that ratio took a bit of a beating after getting absolutely murdered several times in a row by this one guy yesterday. He didn't quit because of the free wins, and I didn't quit because W/L ratio doesn't really matter (plus, there are far too many people that quit after losing one game because of their precious W/L ratio).

and you say you are manly?

No, it isn't especially manly music, and no, i don't give a ****.

I don't have to listen to metal all the ****ing time to prove I am a manly man, and manly men have other things to care than if the music they listen to is "MAN APPROVED HURR". "oh my god i'm not going to listen to this because my fellow men may mock me for it even though I like it and i'm going to be SOCIALLY OSTRACIZED ! The horror !" ? Sounds more like a coward's mindset to me.

Get out before you get some bullsh** strawman out of the retardation fountain that is your mouth, Playzooki. Really.
all im saying is eurodance is awful and you are obsessed with 'muh manliness' and 'muh frenchness'

I don't really see  how music makes a person more manly or less manly unless you spend all of your time listening to something widely regarded as cancerous to the ears rather than just occasionally listening to it as a guilty pleasure kind of like me listening to St. Anger.

I was using that to teach myself Java (then it lost all of my progress and rejigged the order and I couldn't remember where I was). On the subject of using sites to teach coding, I'm currently using http://www.learncpp.com/ to teach myself C++. It's not like Codecademy (Codecademy has built-in success criterias and won't let you continue if you don't meet them, but on the other hand, it can be a bit anal at times (I spelled 'favourite' with a 'u', and it kept failing me, all of the other code was perfect and I was tearing my hair out. Learn CPP requires you to download something like Visual Studio to your computer, and it essentially tells you how it should work (and if yours doesn't work like that, you can check it over yourself. It is quite text heavy though)).

I thought that chavs were the ones wearing tracksuit bottoms that were a waist size or two too big so everyone could see their underwear.
A very generic definition but not untrue. Chavs are wearing skinny jeans more now (where I live anyway.) You can also tell if someone's a chav if they like this FB page https://www.facebook.com/LADbible?fref=ts and can't stop saying stuff like, "LAD!", "Just been to the gym.", you get the jist.

It might just be wear I live, but chavvy girls (invariably) wear very tight clothes (mainly skinny jeans, but, failing that, usually tight white trousers), and chavvy boys wear very baggy clothes... and a belt, for some reason, despite having their trousers half way down their arse most of the time. The only real exception is school kids in uniform.

I failed the first time when I lost on 6.0 intensity (against the mirror match), so I put it on 7.0 intensity and won without using a continue. Oh how I love logic sometimes.

You know if you lose during an unlock match you don't have to clear classic again right? Just go to vs mode and do a match.

I mean that I lost on 6.0 intensity, and when you continue, it automatically lowers it by 0.5. Since the unlocking criteria was 6.0 or higher, using a continue meant I would've finished classic on 5.5 intensity (thereby, not meeting the requirements). On 7.0, I essentially gave myself a two continue buffer to allow for some margin of error.

Just managed All Star on hard on my fifth or sixth attempt. Quite surprising really, considering how I got a really bad draw when it came to stages (the F-Zero level being the main annoyance since it just becomes a clusterf*** on a single platform, kind of like in cartoons where people are fighting and it is just a rotating dust cloud until all bar one goes flying). I don't want to do All Star on hard again.

Oh yeah, and I unlocked

Yeah, activity from useless people.
maybe im missing the point but if the playground or whatever the hell yalls are talking about is a forum about nothing then isnt everything in there useless regardless of who its coming from

or does everyone here have pissy forum rivalries with each other. superiority complexes are helluva junior high bullsh**

id like to see more people even if yall think its 'useless'

Well, it was more that Playground became a toned down 4chan, just with far less interesting threads. I was bored enough to read through them all whenever a new post was made, but I can sum up most of the threads when I say ''Something, something, dubs, lel, kek, images, Frenchie (you gay), (#)demodnaryar, #rektshrektdisrespekt, dubs, dubs, skeletons, Puzzle Plank, trolled, lel' and to be quite honest, it was a little bit tedious (for me, anyway) seeing the same recycled thing. There were a few fun threads, but a lot of it was just drivel.

In fact, I think that some people here made a Playground on 8chan, which would be like the Playground here but with no rules on anything (like gore or porn).
