With one more entry from Geice, we're done. This has picked up just to the point where I'm happy with what we've got. You'll be seeing more from this tournament hopefully later in the week.

We're fast approaching the last weekend you'll be able to submit as I'm not convinced another extension will actually help matters. Let's get something going!

Forgot to post about the second entry received from Baconus_Yum

Seven days to go. I'd appreciate just a little more.

The initial deadline set was unclear but by "a month" I meant "4 weeks". I didn't quite realise I had an extra few more weeks to play with than I thought when I set this date, however, and in the interim I made quite a big mistake in working out what really counted as a "week" given the signup week, so consider this a more formal setting of the date and also a slight extension while we're at it - I'm locking in a final date of December 26th and am likely to start allowing second entries from December 12th (but I will make a second post when that is actually the case).

Received from Meganerdbomb, not been able to check yet. With talk of some more entries on the horizon things are looking more positive.

Hey guys! Three people have entered so far. I should've maybe seen something like this coming but the 16 votes blinded my perception of how these things actually usually go. If I can get at least 8, that'll be just fine. I am likely to allow second entries if things don't speed up quite a bit in the next week (I'm not expecting a tournament fill but getting 8/16 done by that point would be great)

Wait since this has gotten sixteen votes for yes(the amount for the tournament). Does that mean this is now in sign-up form?

Yugitom, the Tournament Moderator, has to officially turn it into a signups thread and make the rules unchangeable.

Just for Jamied666: in addition, it's at the discretion of the host as to when it's ready to go through that process. For example, I have a tournament that has the votes but I'm not going to actually set as "ready for signups" for a few days.

As soon as this tournament is in the "Multi-entry Signups" sub forum and not the Public Tournament Discussion forum, it's ready for entries.

The poll is done! Thanks for the support! I'm likely to actually get this ready for signups at the start of next week, as I've got a few more things to get done this week and don't want to get inundated with entries to review at the same time.

Alright. With a few more updates to the OP on the subject of the arena, my entry, the size limit, and the name rule, I think I'm ready for the poll and I think I've got the whole poll thing set up properly.

Because there's a number of people who are clearly brand new to the tournament thing around here, let me explain this step to them so I don't get Yahoo mailed any robots yet: this tournament needs to receive eight "yes" votes (that's half the size of the tournament) before it can go into signups. I am unlikely to move into signups immediately if this gets greenlit overnight or something, but it'll be very soon after I get what's needed. Voting yes isn't absolutely, permanently forcing you into enter later down the line but it's common sense that you're going to make the best attempt you can to enter if you're interested enough to vote.
